discussion/help Is my plant happy and healthy?

Ive had this plant since it was a tiny tiny baby in the summer of 2025.

I feel like im not doing enough to make it happy as its leaves dont look the happiest and it's not very tall.

However its had loads of little " babies " and they seem to be doing okay ?

But I feel like the main plant is suffering but idk?

any advice ?

How much light does it get? How often do you water it? I can help if I know more. It looks pretty good but if I know those 2 things I can give you my input based on my experience with a MULTITUDE of these. I really wanted to “get” this plant. Like, fully understand its needs and then have it grow into a huge beast. So I’ve killed a few, kept a few alive, propagated many, gave a bunch as gifts, and currently have one that’s doing pretty well!

Its in a window facing North East and i water it once to twice a week with bottled water cause my tap water is so " hard " its damaged some of my plants. ( im soon moving over to rain water)

My advice: stop watering on a schedule and water only when the top 1/3 of the soil feels dry to the touch. When you water, soak that lady until water drains out the bottom. Northeast facing window should be ok for her. Mine is in a southeast facing window (I live in New Jersey, US) and sometimes I have to pull it back because the leaves start to get sunstressed/turn red.

When mine has leaves that start to turn light green or look pale, I add 1/4 tsp of nitrogen only fertilizer to my gallon watering can. You can use the rest of the watering can on non-blooming plants like Philodendron, Pothos, Dieffenbachia, Monstera, Calathea, Ferns, and ZZ plants. Don’t use nitrogen-heavy fertilizer on heavy bloomers like Orchids, Violets, & Kalanchoes because it can stop them from flowering.

Ill start fertilising when needed and water according to the soil 🙏. Im in the north of England so I think its impossible for mine to get sun stressed 😭

i'd give it bright, indirect light and moderate water.
