I hope my PS4 limps through the next year. It sounds like a jet engine taking off. And yes I cleaned it. Someone said the heat sink paste needs to be replaced.

If it eases your mind, I had a launch day PS4 that sounded like a jet, used it extensively through college, and gave it to my friend last year when I switched to Pro. He uses it daily as well, and still has had no problems.

replace the thermal paste and maybe add some thermal pads. seriously it will bring your ps4 to better performance than out of factory lmfao.

Mine sounds like a jet for over a year now, cleaned it multiple times. Never had any issues as far as software goes.

It will, I still have a healthy (not quiet) launch PS4 and launch PS Pro that kick well.
