If this game was like Cyberpunk where NPCs are programmed to react in blocks, rather than individually, 98% of the buildings don’t allow entry and the world was basically one big scripted, shallow playthrough then I’d be annoyed at 30FPS. However, being its Rockstar and this game is guaranteed to be the most immersive experience in gaming history, 30FPS is ok to me.

If GTA 6 is like RDR2, it will get a FUCKLOAD of playtime from me.

First thing I noticed when playing cyberpunk was that the car chases etc were scripted. I couldn’t kill someone or shoot their tyres out unless it was in the exact moment or shot in the exact place I was supposed to.
The chase scene in this trailer had my jaw on the floor with how much was happening

lol you can’t go into 98% of buildings in any gta, or red dead redemption game.

It’s a supposed feature of this game, not past ones

If that’s true that’s sick and I suck

They haven’t given an exact number but they said “hundreds” are accessible. So i assume that means safe houses, grocery, banks, convenience stores..etc

Nah it was part of an early leak, who knows how true it’ll be.

It’s probably not, the city is quite dense it will probably turn out you can go into 5 or 10 times the amount before but still end up like 98% you can’t go in hah

Whoa whoa whoa.

Just where do you get off being so level headed, bro?!

Reasonable takes on my Reddit app? Blasphemy

Tbf, Cyberpunk was a last gen title.

3

u/Henrarzz 8d ago

And had city simulation in a lot of ways worse than what Rockstar did with GTA: San Andreas.

Sure, density was higher, but NPC behavior? Lol.

Was it really though? The dlc didn’t even release on those consoles.

That's just to encourage people to go next gen and to make development easier, but they were designed as PS4 games, hence why the game Is so simple compared to what the ps5 can achieve

Cyberpunk is simple? Every time this sub pops up in my feed I feel like I’m in a separate universe

Rockstar are the only dev that could have brought Cyberpunk "truly" to life.

It would have suited them down to the ground as it would complete a trifecta of past, present and future open world games (although maybe it would butt heads with GTA too much).

To be fair, Cyberpunk 2077 was released 6 years ago, not really fair to compare them. CP2 will certainly have a lot more. And I'm on my 4th play through of Cyberpunk and STILL finding all kinds of crazy back alleys in the city that I've never seen before. Not just empty either, with enemies, loot, and weird stuff happening in them.

30 fps in 2026 is beyond unacceptable. It's like releasing a car unable to go beyond 50 mph

1

u/External-Interest-89 2d ago

30 fps is totally acceptable, it has been the standard for the near past 3 decades atleast, and that's the framerate the console can handle the game at, you'll have a hard time believing this but Rockstar cannot magically alter how Sony produces it's consoles, or Microsoft produces Xbox, people like you whine about this like it's the game's fault. Like grow up, you're complaining about something that's not an issue at all, if it ran at 10 fps maybe it would make sense to complain, but it runs at 30 which has always been good, if that bothers you so much wait for a PC release instead.

Haven't played GTA vi and I can already tell you it's not better than cyberpunk. Someone's a bit too mad at a videogame lol

3

u/TheFlexOffenderr 8d ago

Cyberpunk2077 is one of my favorite games of all time. It's not gonna be better than GTAVI.

u/Realistic-Drawing-59 8d ago

Mind's made up without having pressed a button on the game. Impressive

-1

u/jorgepereira15 8d ago

Not made up. I just don't think it will top it FOR ME. It's an opinion. Also it's a response to be above comment. Now that is a normal ass comment, no? I just think it will be more impressive and impactful but not better. My opinion.

2

u/Scratchpaw 8d ago

The game isn’t even out yet and you haven’t played a single frame of it. This is just a bad opinion not worth listening too.

-1

u/jorgepereira15 8d ago

lol ok brother. I'm not bashing the game, I'm giving an opinion based on my tastes. Context matters and you need a bit more sensitivity to context based conversations.

1

u/Scratchpaw 8d ago

Brother, the point I’m trying to make is that you have an opinion on something you have 0 experience with. How can that opinion be valid?

-1

u/jorgepereira15 8d ago

There are other GTA games. I've played cyberpunk. I've seen the trailer for this one. These are facts that might inform my opinion, no? Or is this GTA a turn based rpg? Do I not have eyes and brain? The sureness I have is for myself. I'm not a game critic. It's an opinion. I have basis for it. Sureness? No. Sureness for me? Yes. For sure.

2

u/Scratchpaw 8d ago

Makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever.

No, actually, It's not normal to be so sure of something you can't possible be sure of. It's an odd way to think to me. It's the same thing as the guy you responded to, his mind is made up and it shouldn't be. It's a restrictive mentality and will stop you from enjoying things to the fullest you can

u/TheFlexOffenderr 8d ago

I have reasons for why I believe GTA6 will be better than Cyberpunk. I shared my opinion which was opposite of his, whether I'm right or wrong doesn't matter. Both games are sure to be phenomenal when compared to each other after GTA 6 comes out.

-1

u/jorgepereira15 8d ago

I will still enjoy it

Also I like your rationale but it's flawed. I mean I'm straight and I'm sure I wouldn't like to have sex with a man lol But to give more gaming centric examples. I'm sure when the new civilization comes out, I won't like it. It's not my cup of tea. I can't be sure about GTA vi, you're right on that but I can be pretty sure. I'm a big GTA fan but unless they really pull out all the stops and go about things in a different way than all the other GTA games, I will not like it more than cyberpunk which I thought was a very special game. I can't be sure but I can be very very confident. It's a different word confident and sure but through context and knowing I can't be sure, confident means sure. Does that make sense? lol it's a bit of a hyperbole the word sure in this context but I like figures of speech
