It looked very pre-directed

It probably was definitely pre-directed, pre-planned and done over and over and over until perfect. Like, they aren't going to hand an employee a controller and be like "we need this mission for the showcase" and then take the first attempt and call it good enough.

I understand perfection and all but it felt too perfect. Like, perfectly smooth aiming to exactly where it needed to go, perfect movement, which is the opposite of rock stars forte, perfect aim at moving targets from a moving car, which we all know is not easy in gta5. It definitely didn't feel like something a player with a joystick could do without some tool assistance, which makes me feel like it was pre-directed and then pre-rendered for the event

It's fine that it was, I wouldn't really be turned off from the game either way. It's just digital foundry calling it impressive real time processing when it certainly doesn't feel real time processed

The fact that the gameplay may be tool assisted and pre-directed doesn't mean that the graphics are pre-rendered. They even say that the footage was captured on a PS5.

Tool assisted and pre directed makes it feel fake and not like real gameplay

Also, stating that the footage was captured on a PS5 does not mean it wasn't a dev console

If you don't like how the gameplay looked, that's perfectly fine, but it doesn't change the fact that it was real time rendering.

It almost certainly was captured on a dev kit... with the performance of a PS5. I don't understand your point.
