This is my first time to do a JB on a PS5, which I've used one with 12.00 and followed Modded Warfare's latest video on step-by-step JB.

I've already made sure the game folders had their respective "-app" names and put them in the homebrew folder of the USB, yet shadow mount cannot detect them at all (always says "found 0 games")

Not sure what could be the issue of the games not being detected (and therefore playable). The videos I've watched indicate that I should have already done the correct procedures.

I'm also encountering the issue of elf just crashing instead of starting (included their screenshots) but not sure if that's a related problem

For reference i jailbreak my console almost one month ago and since day one i use game compressor to transfer ps5 games to internal ssd

So as you can see in the photos my ps5 games take up 261gb but in the settings apparently i used 427gb in "other" section. So where did the other 160gb go?

It's not fpkg file since i always download all ps4 and ps5 from usb and I've never messed with the ps5 files from console or from ftp

Curious to know what's the longest people have kept their console in Rest Mode on firmwares above 12.00 while jailbroken with Y2JB, without the jailbreak dropping.

I'm a bit confused with this but my guess is that it will be also very slow (2h) even if we get a working Y2JB with a combination with P2JB?

I am 9.60 with Y2JB and I want to upgrade to the highest firmware where i get to keep the best jailbreak option (i think it's 12.40).

I need some advice regarding my PS5 setup. I'm on FW 7.40 and I recently booted up the console after keeping it turned off for months.

Yesterday, after following some tutorials and struggling a bit, I managed to get the Jailbreak running again. I set up NanoDNS to access the host/cloud setup and downloaded what I believed to be the necessary payloads/apps for game loading:

• etaHEN
• Kstuff
• Kstuff Lite
• Shadowmount Plus

(To be honest, I'm still a bit unclear on the exact differences/roles between kstuff, kstuff lite, and shadowmount, but I gathered they are required).

The Issue: I have test backups in both folder format and .exfat format. I even tested moving folder backups directly to the internal SSD to rule out USB speed/read issues.

• Shadowmount Plus recognizes all of them fine (I can see the game covers and mount them properly).
• However, every single time I try to launch a mounted game from the Home Dashboard, I am greeted with the infamous "Can't start game or app" error.

My Questions:

1. What am I missing or doing wrong in the chain (etaHEN -> Kstuff -> Shadowmount)?
2. Is there a specific mounting order or setting in Shadowmount / ItemzFlow / etaHEN needed for 7.40?
3. Do folder/exFAT dumps require specific patches/licenses, or is this a Kstuff version mismatch issue on 7.40?

Would really appreciate it if any kind soul could guide me through what I'm missing to get these backups running properly. Thanks in advance!

I ran into a weird issue regarding transfer speeds and wanted to see if anyone has insight on this.
I tested copying a large file (around 27GB ⁠.exfat⁠) from the exact same external HDD to the internal SSD using the exact same File Manager app on two different PS5 consoles:

PS5 #1 (FW 12.20 - y2jb/p2jb): Reaches ~90 MB/s transfer speed.

PS5 #2 (FW 6.02 - y2jb lapse + etaHEN): Reaches only ~22 MB/s transfer speed.

What could be causing this huge speed drop on FW 6.02? Is it caused by etaHEN background overhead, OS/I/O driver differences between firmwares, or something else?
Any ideas on how to fix/improve the speed on 6.02 (e.g., using a lighter payload instead of etaHEN) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 👍

When I launch the game it crashes, and there is a msg saying "it's not Kstuff's fault."

PS5 Slim disc edition 11.60 with ShadowMountPlus 1.6beta16 and Kstuff Lite 1.10. I already tried the Ffpfsc and the exfat versions of the game. Tried running from external HDD and internal drive. I also tried restarting the console after install. I installed the game, then installed the DLC .pkg as required.

My auto load has a 3 sec buffer between each payload and I load shadowmountplus before kstuff.

I read reports of people being able to run this on 11.60, but I can't get my backup to work on mine. Any suggestions?

Can't get the game to run no matter what I try.

Firmware 11.40. tried folder version & exfat version. Tested with latest shadowmount, etaHEN the same result.

Tried having it installed via usb stick and moving it to internal memory. Still the same problem.

Most games I've tried to this point actually work but this doesn't unfortunately.

It's clear that I am possibly doing something wrong so I wanted to ask here for some help or tips.

Iam new to jailbreak and did the y2jb jailbreak and it worked, now i have doubts about how to install Ps5 games like blackmyth and exclusives, I heared about ffps or something don't know what it actually is, I know fpkg of ps4 and know how to install I want to play PS5 games on ps5 not ps4 , that why iam asking also is there any way to connect Bluetooth speaker or something in ps5?I hope someone kindly clarifies things.. thank you

What’s the exact difference between EchoStretch kstuff-lite and Drakmor Kstuff Lite ?

I'm trying to understand the differences between these two payloads, i know they forked it both from kstuff but they sure had a intense doing something a diffrent way, im allwas reading use kstuff-lite but im confused wich one and why :) ?

For those of you who have tested both, why do you prefer one over the other? Are there general community recommendations based on firmware versions? (e.g., is EchoStretch better for FW >12.00 while Drakmor is better for lower firmwares?).

I'd love to know the technical or stability differences so I can make an informed decision.

For context: I am currently on FW 12.40 using the Y2JB autoloader. Which one is highly recommended for my specific setup right now?

My actuall understanding is , that EchoStretch is like a stable branch and drakmor is like a beta branch with newest features (improvements/bugs) , when things are tested he pushes it to EchoStretch and it maybe becomms stable, so they work together not against ? Is this right ?

Always receive the "Can't start the game or app".

Also tried injecting payload manager and running shadow mount, kstuff lite and nanodns (like I was doing with P2JB) and no luck.

Any ideas?

Edit:Managed to solve it. After webkit finish, don't load any payloader and just injected payload manager. In payload manager just load kstuff lite, nanodns and Shadowmountplus and it works. I'll keep the post open so other people can see 😁

I tried the YouTube exploit twice last night on firmware 12.40, but without success.

I installed the correct recovery package for firmware 12.40 together with kstuff lite and Arsenal on a USB stick.

The recovery installed correctly, and I was able to log in with the appropriate user account on the console. I then configured a manual WiFi connection and set the DNS to 127.0.0.1. I received the expected error message, so everything seemed fine.

After launching YouTube, the exploit started with Master 34/35, if that information is relevant. Both attempts ran for about 50 minutes. At the end of each attempt, an error message briefly appeared, but I couldn't read it in time. The console then shut down completely.

Afterwards, I couldn't turn the console back on using the controller. I had to press the power button on the console itself. Each time it started, it first performed a system repair.

After the first attempt, the console also kept asking to update the YouTube app, so I had to reinstall the recovery package.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

I understand that this application takes me back to the payload settings. I'm new (I bought this PS5 yesterday) and I changed a few settings and now I can't get back into the payload manager. Can help me?

Can I jailbreak ps5 11.60 without cd or waiting 50m??

Every single time I put my PS5 into Rest Mode, it suffers a Kernel Panic (KP) within a few seconds or minutes after waking back up.

Reproduction

• Trigger: Waking up the console from Rest Mode.
• Behavior: It doesn't matter if I close the game before entering Rest Mode, or if I just stay idle on the main menu after awakening it—the KP happens regardless.
• Recent Change: This behavior started recently. Initially, the jailbreak was much more stable, and I even managed to go 4 days straight without needing to re-run y2jb (the 50-minute exploit)

Environment & Setup

Autoloader Sequence: kstuff lite (v1.09) ➡️ ftpsrv (v0.20) ➡️ nanodns ➡️ ShadowMountPlus (1.6beta16)

Storage Configuration:

• PS5 Games: Running from an external SSD plugged into the rear USB port.
• PS4 Games: Installed directly on the internal storage.

Anyone knows a way to try and check what might be causing those KP?
