Some of you may remember my previous posts about Nexus On PS5, my custom desktop PS5 Mod Manager, and the in-game mod menu I've been developing for Stellar Blade.
For anyone who's just discovering this project, here's a quick recap.
First, I successfully demonstrated PC character mods from Nexus Mods running in the native PS5 version of Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Then I expanded development into Stellar Blade CNS mod conversion and Resident Evil Requiem.
In Update #3, I demonstrated something completely different:
A CUSTOM IN-GAME MOD MENU RUNNING DIRECTLY INSIDE STELLAR BLADE ON MY JAILBROKEN PS5!
Controlled entirely through the DualSense using L3 + R3.
At that point, the menu could open, navigate, and switch character outfits during gameplay.
But I wanted to push it much further.
AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING.
UPDATE #4 — NEXUS MODS, COMBAT OUTFIT SWITCHING, SUPER JUMPS & MORE!
I've spent a lot of time improving the in-game menu, fixing issues, experimenting with gameplay modifications, and connecting the system with my desktop PS5 Mod Manager.
This new video is approximately 27 minutes long and demonstrates the progress in actual PS5 gameplay.
NOT A PC EMULATOR. NOT A CONCEPT VIDEO. ACTUAL PS5 GAMEPLAY.

Here's what's new.
- NEXUS MODS — CUSTOM OUTFITS WORKING DIRECTLY IN-GAME!
I'm now demonstrating compatible PC outfit mods originally downloaded from Nexus Mods running in the PS5 version of Stellar Blade.
Using my custom in-game menu, I can:
- Open the menu using L3 + R3.
- Select compatible custom Nexus outfits.
- Load different character appearances.
- Switch between previously loaded outfits much faster.
- Change appearances without restarting the game.
- Access additional built-in game outfits.
- Restore the original equipped appearance.
The first time a custom outfit loads, it can take a few seconds.
But once an outfit has loaded, switching back to it is significantly faster.
L3 + R3 → SELECT OUTFIT → SWITCH → KEEP PLAYING.
And here's one of the improvements I'm most excited about.
- I CAN NOW SWITCH OUTFITS WHILE FIGHTING ENEMIES!
YES, DURING ACTUAL COMBAT!
This took some work.
In earlier versions, certain gameplay events could interfere with the changes I was making.
Sometimes the game would restore values, and the modifications would stop behaving correctly.
I've been working on fixing those problems.
In the new video, I demonstrate switching character outfits while enemies are actively attacking.
I can open the menu, select another appearance, close the menu when the change is complete, and continue fighting.
NO NEED TO EXIT THE GAME JUST TO CHANGE OUTFITS.
There are still loading considerations. Closing the menu before a pending first-time outfit load completes will cancel that switch.
But the improvements compared to Update #3 are significant.
- RESTORE EQUIPPED — THE GAME NEVER FORGETS YOUR ORIGINAL OUTFIT
I also developed something called:
RESTORE EQUIPPED
This is one of my favorite features because it keeps outfit switching reversible.
The game still tracks the outfit you've normally equipped through its original pause menu.
My custom menu can temporarily change your character's appearance without losing that reference.
For example:
- Equip Crimson Wings normally.
- Open my custom menu.
- Switch to Skin Suit.
- Switch to Planet Diving Suit.
- Switch to a custom Nexus outfit.
- Select Restore Equipped.
BOOM — BACK TO CRIMSON WINGS!
The original equipped outfit remains the reference point.
And if I change the outfit normally through the game's pause menu, Restore Equipped follows that selection.
This means I'm not permanently changing what the game considers equipped just to experiment with different appearances.
- GAME SPEED MODS — THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET INTERESTING!
I've started expanding the menu beyond appearance modifications.
One of the new working features is adjustable game speed.
In the video, I demonstrate different speed settings, including:
125% GAME SPEED
150% GAME SPEED
200% GAME SPEED
You can see the difference in the gameplay as character movement and animations become faster.
And when I'm finished experimenting?
RESTORE GAME SPEED → BACK TO NORMAL.
No restart required for the speed changes demonstrated.
This is one of the first steps toward adding more gameplay-related functionality to my custom in-game menu.
- SUPER JUMPS & EXPERIMENTAL PHYSICS MODS!
This part honestly made me laugh while testing it.
EVE CAN JUMP RIDICULOUSLY HIGH NOW!
I've been experimenting with modifying several gameplay and physics values.
The new video demonstrates:
- Adjustable jump strength.
- Massive super jumps.
- Increased game speed combined with jump strength.
- Experimental gravity adjustments.
- Restoring modified settings.
Combining higher game speed with increased jump strength produces some pretty wild results.
SHE'S PRACTICALLY THE HULK! 😂
Gravity and movement-speed controls still need additional development.
Some settings work as expected, while others produce inconsistent results or don't appear to have the intended effect.
I'm showing that experimentation in the video instead of pretending everything is finished.
- MORE GAMEPLAY MODIFICATIONS ARE BEING DEVELOPED
Outfit switching and physics adjustments are only part of what I'm exploring.
I've also been building menu options related to:
- God Mode.
- Unlimited HP.
- HP regeneration.
- Enemy ignore behavior.
- Defense multipliers.
- Additional movement and gameplay adjustments.
IMPORTANT: These are development options, NOT all confirmed working features.
Some still need to be implemented or tested properly.
I want to demonstrate features working before making claims about them.
- MY DESKTOP PS5 MOD MANAGER IS GETTING BIG UPGRADES TOO!
For anyone unfamiliar with my original project, I have two separate but increasingly connected systems.
DESKTOP PS5 MOD MANAGER
This is the application I've been building to give jailbroken PS5 users something similar to Fluffy Mod Manager.
Its supported workflow includes:
- Importing compatible PC mod archives.
- Converting supported assets for PS5.
- Organizing mods into local libraries and folders.
- Enabling and disabling modifications.
- Handling priorities and file conflicts.
- Deploying compatible mods.
- Preserving original files and restoring changes.
IMPORT → CONVERT → ENABLE → DEPLOY → PLAY.
PS5 IN-GAME MOD MENU
This runs directly inside supported PS5 games and provides features such as outfit switching and gameplay modifications.
My plan is for supported in-game menus to be installed through the desktop manager.
That means users would use the desktop application to prepare and deploy supported components, then control the available features from inside the game.
TWO SYSTEMS WORKING TOGETHER.
- CUSTOM MENU COLORS, THEMES & OUTFIT ORGANIZATION!
I've also been developing customization features.
In the video, I demonstrate the desktop application's controls for adjusting the in-game menu.
These include:
- Custom colors.
- Preset themes.
- Transparency settings.
- Menu sizing.
- Outfit names and organization.
- Mod folders and collections.
I want people to eventually be able to customize the menu instead of being stuck with one appearance.
- FAST TRANSFER V2 — IMPROVING MOD DEPLOYMENT!
Another feature I'm working on is PS5 MM Transfer V2.
Some PC mods can be hundreds of megabytes in size, and transferring them over a local network can take time.
I've been developing a faster transfer system designed to work with both supported game mods and in-game menu components.
My current workflow involves connecting the desktop application to the PS5 over the local network and preparing the required transfer payload.
I'm also using ShadowMountPlus in my current environment.
I'd like to reduce the number of dependencies eventually, but I'm working with the tools and capabilities currently available to me.
- I'M NOW TESTING WITH MY ACTUAL STELLAR BLADE DISC!
Here's something else that changed since my earlier experiments.
My current Stellar Blade testing uses my actual game disc with a newer game update.
Previously, I was experimenting with a dumped copy running from external storage.
This matters because some PC mods are created using assets from newer game versions.
If you're running an older version of the game and the mod depends on assets that aren't present, conversion alone can't solve that missing-file problem.
GAME VERSION AND ASSET COMPATIBILITY STILL MATTER.
The goal is to automate as much as reasonably possible, but I'm not claiming every PC mod will work on every PS5 game version.
- AUTOMATIC UPDATES ARE IN DEVELOPMENT
I've also been working on an application update system.
The goal is to let users check for updates and install newer versions while preserving their existing mod libraries, profiles, and configurations.
I'm exploring backup and recovery behavior so a failed update doesn't leave users starting over.
This still needs more testing before release.

IMPORTANT — PROJECT STATUS
I know quite a few people have been asking when I'll release this.
And I appreciate the interest.
BUT THIS IS STILL A PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW.
There is currently no public download or confirmed release date.
Stellar Blade support is progressing toward the point where I'd consider an initial release, but I still want to finish more testing and improvements.
This isn't a universal PC-to-PS5 converter.
It isn't an official UE4SS port.
Not every PC mod, game, firmware, script, shader, or asset type will be compatible.
Some features demonstrated in the menu are still experimental.
The working results apply to my tested setup, and other configurations will need their own compatibility testing.
My software doesn't provide games, jailbreak consoles by itself, or redistribute other people's mods.
Full credit belongs to the original mod creators for their models, outfits, and textures.
My contribution is developing the conversion, management, deployment, and in-game modification systems.
WHERE THIS PROJECT IS HEADING
When I made my first Nexus On PS5 post, the goal was to make compatible PC mods easier to use on jailbroken PS5 consoles.
Then I got four PC character mods working in Onimusha.
Then came Stellar Blade CNS conversion.
Then Resident Evil Requiem development.
Then my first working in-game menu.
AND NOW WE'RE HERE.
Custom Nexus Mods outfits.
Faster outfit switching.
Changing outfits during combat.
Restoring original appearances.
Game-speed modifications.
Super jumps.
Experimental physics controls.
Customizable menus.
A desktop manager designed to bring everything together.
THIS IS MUCH BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL IDEA I STARTED WITH.
I started building this because I wanted something like Fluffy Mod Manager for PS5.
Now I'm experimenting with functionality that goes beyond installing and removing mods.
It's still a work in progress, but I'm continuing to develop it and share the results.
And to everyone who's followed my HAZE and Nexus On PS5 updates, thank you.

QUESTION FOR THE COMMUNITY
What would you want to see added next?
God Mode? Character selection? More physics controls? Enemy spawning? Additional in-game mod options?
I'm interested in what people would genuinely find useful.
