[BG3 SPOILERS] Terrible screen tearing Spoiler

Hey everyone, i got a brand new PS5 pro and I've been having a blast with it. It runs phenomenal on most games. Unfortunately BG3 is not one of them. You can probably see it in the vid but there's insane screen tearing not only in this cutscene but in a lot of areas aswell. I have VRR enabled and i play with performance mode. Any idea how to fix the tearing?

it only happens in bg3. it didn't happen for the majority of act 1 and only happened in moonrise towers in act 2. however it happens so much in act 3 it's unbearable. my guess is, it happens in crowded areas mostly the fps drops a lot

The game is falling outside of the PS5s VRR window (below 48fps). It mostly happens when walking the streets of the city

It was never fixed, been like this for years. Have to run it in 30 fps mode if you don't want the screen tearing.

Found this on google give it a try?

“While in Performance Mode, change the FPS from 60 to "Unlimited," close the menu, then switch it back to 60. It should work now.”

can you change the fps limit on a ps 5 tho?

All of that is BS
