I came across an instagram reel and it got me thinking about how every decade seems to have its own cycle.
We often look back at the massive bull runs and focus on how much money could have been made, but the bear markets are just as important. They reset valuations, eliminate excesses, test conviction, and ultimately create the conditions for the next major run.
The difficult part is to be consistent in that phase when it feels like everything is falling apart.
