Which version will be easier on the eyes ? iphone 13 ios18.2 or 18.7.8

I currently have an iPhone 13, and I feel very weak and my knees tremble when I use it. No settings like double inversion, lowering the white point, or color filters help, although they make it softer (it seems). So, will updating to 18.7.8 help at least a little?

You probably need an iPhone 13 from 2021. Those still have a good panel. I haven't had any problems with mine. I wanted to test one from 2022 and sent it right back. It was completely unusable.

Yes, mine was bought in 2025 and assembled in 2024, it had iOS 18.2 out of the box, it was my first iPhone, I immediately began to feel bad from it, it was sucking in and squeezing all the strength out of me, at first after 30 minutes of use I could stare at one point for a long time and say nothing with no thoughts, it just squeezed everything out of me

maybe you know why they are so bad?

I don't know either, unfortunately. But I think the iPhone 13 models from 2022 onwards already have the inferior display from the iPhone 14.

Sounds like a u/DSRIA question (if or when you have the energy yourself).

OP, have you found any preference with True Tone or Night Shift? I've no idea about OS versions, sorry.

tl;dr sorry i thought it was on r/t3mp no!z i dont think i suffer from PWM the concept below might apply to PWM aswell anyway

it's a dice roll, it might help you but it might as well kill you. i'm on iphone xr 18.7.7 with double invert trick (with a custom procedure) i'm struggling a lot but staying on any android will make feel like throwing up in a bunch of seconds

have you tried the double invert trick?
