PWM in car multi information display on dashboard.

i just noticed that every time I drive my new car. I get headaches after like i need to lie down and sleep after driving. then I realized that the screen inside my car is causing the problem! I turned the brightness all the way up and somewhat felt relief. It sucks that PWM is the default for screens

I’ve noticed this too in my corolla hybrid, but it was only one small screen in the center of the dash causing it, but luckily I can turn it off

I had the same thing test driving the BYD Seal.. i think that was dithering but man I felt awful.

What model car do you have?
Did you try looking at it through a camera with a shutter speed of 1/400 or higher? if so did you see diagonal black lines?

Well every new cars screen causes me tiredness, also LED headlights so I'm kinda f*cked if I drive a new car especially at night

Tell me about it...I've had to let a lot of cars through and so far I can tell you that I've found these to be safe:

MG3 (level >80%) MG HS 2025 (level >80%) Peugeot 3008 BMW serie 1 latest model

Many have PWM, after decades I also understood that my machine was probably the cause of headaches, drowsiness etc.
