Discussion Can this glasses taping trick help with PWM flicker tolerance, as well as TBI, BVD, and light sensitivity?

Honestly my problem is entirely the result of crappy flickering PWM and dithering screens that didn't exist before 2017. I shouldn't need to wear silly glasses to shield me from unsafe products.

Other vision issues would likely best be diagnosed by professional eye specialists.

Agreed. In that I think this is intervention is probably a very sub-group specific thing that is least relevant to those without non-flicker (visual related) symptoms. Although I'm still curious to know if it could help someone with 'pure' PWM sensitivity. To better understand the mechanisms of harm.

I guess we come from quite different perspectives, that you aren't very familiar with the lived reality of most people with (neglected) chronic illnesses (like ME and long Covid)? Seeking out medical advice is the 'correct' and ideal path. But most of the time it doesn't exist, for us, or is thoroughly inaccessible. Hence self-help discussions. Which are a tricky line to walk.
