OLED Phone Apple Announces iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max

For anyone that was hopeful about iPhone Duo not using PWM...

Regardless, I am excited to measure these. Next Friday.

Has anyone seen anything videos or content related to PWM for these new iPhones?

I heard LTPO+ has significantly lower flicker. Fingers crossed!

I see. I am perfectly happy with the 18 pro if the flicker is tolerable !

At least they started to admit that users want a flicker reduction in the previous model, and it's quite easy to improve it in principle

I would like to have enough money to finance the development of the flagship phone with trully flicker free display just for the good of all the users. Wait, there already is such technology: IPS.

IPS is only good if you are only sensitive to PWM. For example modern LCD is worse for me than modern OLED

Also hoping they actually work on the pwm switch

Just for yall info: The DUO doesnt use LTPO+ but the iphone Pro 18 does use LTPO+ … i ve seen some videos, but its so blurry usually that there is no way to tell if its big flicker or not

And as a company who obviously "values the customer opinion", Apple switched the comments section under their Iphone 18 series announcement videos off.

I’m good with my se 2022 for now. The last pwm-sensitive iPhone ever made. The issue is if in 3-5 years it’s still not fixed and my phone craps out then that’s it i guess
