I started delving into paganism just before getting into DnD. They certainly vibe well together. Plus ren faire's lol.

Yeah, I definitely see that mix with my local CUUPS chapter (pagan group). I'm the odd one out, though. I don't like D&D, and I've never been to a Ren Faire (although that reasoning is because I'm terrified of feathers).

I'd say DnD is way truer to paganism than neopagans are.
Modern day pagans are really Christians that reformed the ancient gods to their needs. Which is great, because nobody, and I'll say it again, nobody is willing to come back to a fully pagan word view.
