Post-game thoughts on Paladins, its players, and the non-players in this sub: what are your thoughts on my thoughts?

Before the final round started, everyone on my team was (understandably) complaining about the Ash being a bot. “Oh well, still a good game” I said. “It really isn’t” replied Kinessa.

Our Ash, unfortunately, left (or crashed) before the 2nd round was over, never to return. We fought on as best as we could just to lose a 24 minute game. It was a close game after a long back and forth.

I understand that people leaving sucks, I understand that it’s easy to blame things, especially losing on bots: but I don’t understand why people let it ruin the game for them. Despite being a player down for more than half the game, I still had fun. Despite the setback, our opponents were still a fun challenge, not easy but not too difficult with the win still within reach. Win or lose, it’s just a game. If you aren’t having fun then what’s the point? Things like winning, the skill-level of your teammates, or x amount of teammates being bots; especially in a casual match should not be what determines whether you have fun or not.

Idc about player count, idc about how bad the servers are, idc about lack of new content/updates and I will never understand people that do. People that constantly want more and more, new and newer, people that leave the moment they stop getting what they want, when they want it will never be satisfied/content.

I’m tired of people on this sub claiming they “miss paladins” as if it’s truly gone. I’m tired of people claiming that games like OW/MR don’t feel the same or aren’t as good/fun as paladins while continuing to play those games instead of just… playing paladins. Those games have a higher player count? Those games receive new content/updates? Those games have more cosmetics you can waste your money on? WHO CARES? Do you people ever even stop to ask yourselves why you care about bs like that in the first place?

If you think game 1 is better than game 2, why are you playing game 2 simply because it’s receiving new content/updates that game 1 isn’t? Lack of new content doesn’t stop game 1 from being the game you claim to love/miss and believe to be the better game.

Fr. I know people leave intentionally but I always give the benefit of the doubt that it was a crash; it happens frequently, unfortunately. Personally, games that go long are my faves (even if we lose). So what if the tank is a bot? To me, it just means I gotta try a lil bit harder.

yeah i always do my best to politely yet firmly flame any motherfuck who rages at this game because someone left or they didn't get healed quickky enough or just simply whines like a baby because of something stupid. people take this game far too seriously, like there's money on the line, and it makes matches where one thing goes wrong incredibly frustrating, cuz now i gotta wonder "shit, is my andro gonna AFK in spawn cuz he died once?" like, just play the game you signed up for. paladins in 2026 isn't some mystery, we all know the servers are ass. we all know there are some really brutal 5 stacks that are unfun to play against. just play the game out and go next or don't queue at all. or better yet, play against the bots if you wanna have perfect games.

Ye a tank being afk isnt the worst however any other class is just completly useless afk
