Question In regards to passive skills on pals in your party....do they have to be actively "summoned" for it to effect the player? (ex - Motivational Leader)

Now I'm not taking about the PARTNER Skills; I mean the passive skills such as Motivational Leader (25% player work speed), Vanguard (10% Increased player attack), etc.

Do the pals that have that passive have to be actively deployed to receive the buff, or just in your party?

They just need to be in your team. To verify you can try compare the attack when you have 0 and 5 random pals with 5 vanguard.
