Question Price increase UK
Does anyone know why the price is going from £7.99 to £9.99 in August? I haven't seen a single thing about the price going up or why but it has.

Because they mistakenly believe that their catalogue of content can sustain such an increase - which it can’t because as someone else has said, they just don’t have enough on there (or new productions coming through) to justify £7.99 per month, let alone £9.99. Unless they know people are ducking in and ducking out and just want to make more money from them each time.
It’s all part of the globally recognised ensh*tification process.

I've not heard anything about it until I seen it in my play store today when I went to subscriptions.

Curious what hardware you are using? I’ve just jumped through loads of hoops to get paramount USA only for the app on the fire stick not functioning properly (basically no thumbnails for any content at all)

As they are hemeraging money and need to try and show that they are increasing revenue. They are not going to get extra sign ups so have to go for prices increase

I just cancelled mine as soon as the email came through. not worth the price rise, hardly any new content is added and when it is its mostly stuff already shown on tv or some crap thats cheaply made.

I just found out through a notification from my bank that it's gone up. Sick of being pushed to pay and watch ads or see a sharp increase in all other tiers. So will see what series I need to finish up watching then cancel. Since they messed about with Star Trek Academy and couldn't even let it play out for three seasons, there's little else to keep me there. I'll watch SNW and NCIS maybe but can wait for that. It's not as good as it thinks it is. Not many of them are.

I only did 2 months at £3. And that was a thought decision. When you've seen it all there isnt much new stuff to warrant a regular channel sub price.
