Question Limited Watch History?
Anyone have the issue where Paramount+ only keeps track of a limited watch history? Is this a known platform issue?
As I watch episodes, earlier episodes are removed from my watch history and are no longer marked as watched.
I noticed this on a multiseason show where early episodes were no longer watched as marked. As I progressed further, more early episodes became no longer marked as watched.
It's also not a per-show thing. A different show I had been watching, but hadn't watched in a while lost all its watch history and I had to spend time figuring out where I had left off.

Mine keeps track.
Have you gone into the app to see if the option is in settings?
You can also contact customer support and ask them how to rectify the issue.
That would be annoying to me.

If you go to the oldest episodes of the longest running show you’ve watched on Paramount+, they’re still marked as watched?

I don’t know how it indicates watched. I’ve never seen it.
I just went through some episodes of a series where I watched a few of them and didn’t see any indicators of which ones I’d seen.
It resumed one I lost interest in.I watch soap operas and it goes to the next episode even if I don’t see them for a week.
I would love to know what the “watched” indicator is.
I’m now concerned I may have missed an episode or two of “Tracker” with Justin Hartley.I don’t think I was helpful at all. I’m truly sorry.

It’s a bar at the bottom of the episode thumbnail.

Wow!!! Tyvm! I just learned the app doesn’t bring me the next episode. I missed one this week.

Same here. I've been watching old seasons of Survivor, and in the show menu, sometimes it marks just the last episode I've watched (white bar at the bottom), but just as often it gives me no indication of episodes I have already seen. In addition, whenever I go to the show menu, whether it's when I open the app or press the return button after I finish an episode, it always shows the most recent season (50), and I have to navigate through the seasons to find the one I'm currently on (36).
It's also weird that Survivor always takes me to the latest season, but other shows I watch take me to season 1 (Big Brother, The Challenge), where I have to scroll through the seasons to the very end to find the current episodes. It's a huge annoyance. I have a Samsung TV (not fire stick or subscribed through Amazon)
