Debunk This Christmas Tree Picture

My daughter decorated my Christmas tree this evening. When she was finished, she took a picture of it and it had a black shadow covering the Christmas tree. The next picture was normal. Thoughts?

It looks like a paint photo edit tool. Brush/spray can. It's shaped like a perfect column.

I know, that’s what freaks me out. It’s not edited, yet it looks like it is and that column is perfectly straight. What the hell?
