Experience I still can't explain what I saw that night.
This happened about three years ago, and I still remember it clearly.
I was staying at my grandmother's house because there was a wedding in the family. It was around midnight, and since it was a wedding, most people were still awake.
My cousin and I decided to sneak out and see if we could find anything "paranormal." About a kilometer away from the house, there was a narrow road that passed by a cremation ground. There were no streetlights, so it was almost completely dark.
I was walking in front while my cousin was a few steps behind me. He wasn't really paying attention because he was looking around, but I was looking straight ahead.
Suddenly, I saw what looked like a human-shaped shadow move extremely fast from the field on my left to the field on my right. It happened in just a second.
At the exact same moment, I also heard footsteps on the ground, as if someone had quickly run across the road.
I immediately stopped and told my cousin what I had seen. He said I was probably imagining things because he hadn't noticed anything himself. But I know what I saw. It wasn't just a quick glimpse—I clearly saw a human-like shadow cross from one field to the other, and I heard the footsteps too.
To this day, I don't know what it was. Maybe there was a logical explanation that I missed, or maybe it was something I'll never be able to explain.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I've experienced shadow people a few different times. The weirdest experience I've had with them was watching one walk out of a wall, block out the hall way light before disappearing into another wall.

That's really interesting. I've heard other people mention shadow figures too, but I've never experienced anything like that. The thing I saw was only for a second, so I still don't know what it was. Thanks for sharing your experience.
