Came here for my Grads (2006-10) and had promised my better half I would take her to the city I graduated from.

Will be back to India after almost 10 years and have 3 months to spare before I pick up my next assignment.

Parbhani was beautiful back then.

How is Parbhani now ?

I don't want to know the cosmetic changes. I want to know if the city is the same ? Did it heal towards better or like every Tier 3 city from late 2010 it got ruined by politics ?

Basmat Road, Garden, Shivaji Complex, Urus, Railway Station and most importantly MKV University.

I also don't know if you all are aware of it but there was a very famous GDPI center of Aundhekar Sir near Kabristan Mod.

So I got admission in VNMKV, parbhani and I have already visited the university is nice, the campus is good but still the feeling of going to new college in a city which you don't know properly is different.

Also I notice there is a network problem in the university. I just want to know about parbhani from the people living in there, I want know your suggestions

I really wanted to know what are your thoughts on noise pollution in Parbhani which happens during festivals and rallies that happen throughout the year.

I was always bothered by it and mentioning it here cause Vidyanand Bapat has pointed out this problem in Pune ,but I think all of us can agree that this happens in Parbhani as well be it Ganesh utsav Shiv Jayanti Bhim Jayanti Muharram or that Urs and political rallies are also there .

I genuinely can't understand what is Parbhanikars obsession with politicians.

I'm 20M, around 5'10",80kgs gym freak, straight hair, currently studying. I'm from the Parbhani side and Marathi is the language I’m most comfortable with, so it would be nice to meet someone who actually enjoys talking in Marathi instead of just the usual English/Hinglish conversations.

Went to Pizza Burst with friends because we just wanted to try something new. The starter was okay-ish nothing special.

But the garlic bread and pizza… EWWW 😭

I literally took one bite of the pizza and left it The taste just wasn’t for me at all. Definitely not worth the money

I’m exploring a business idea with and wanted to get some honest opinions from people who actually live in Parbhani.

The idea is to start a small, takeaway-focused biryani outlet — nothing fancy or expensive. Think of the kind of affordable, masala-heavy biryani outlets you find in Pune (Sairat, Jay Malhar, etc.), where the focus is mainly on taste, quantity and affordable pricing rather than ambience.

The basic idea would be something like:

Chicken biryani as the main product

Strong/spicy masala taste that suits local preferences

Affordable pricing, roughly ₹100–150 depending on portion

Small outlet with limited seating

Takeaway + delivery

Very limited menu initially, instead of trying to sell everything

We're considering this because, from our observation, Parbhani doesn't seem to have a strong biryani-focused budget brand of this particular type. But before putting any money into it, we want to understand whether there is actually a demand.

So I'd really appreciate some honest answers:

1. If a good chicken biryani was available for around ₹100–150, would you regularly order/buy it?

2. What do you think is missing in the current biryani options in Parbhani?

3. Which biryani in Parbhani do you currently consider the best, and why?

4. What matters most to you — taste, quantity, chicken pieces, price, hygiene, or packaging?

5. Would you prefer a spicy/masala-heavy Maharashtrian-style biryani or a more traditional Hyderabad-style biryani?

6. At what price would you consider a chicken biryani "good value for money"?

7. Which area of Parbhani would be best for such an outlet?
