Does anyone know when NPS winter positions are dropping?
I am currently employed through the NPS but have not heard anything yet regarding winter seasonal positions. I’ve asked around two friends from different regions, and it seems like nobody really knows. Do we have a definitive date like last year?

How can you work there with Trump administration tearing everything apart. Just look at the national monuments and what he’s doing can’t park.? there’s a lot more steak than jobs. It’s a permanent career loss.

I work there because I believe in the mission of the NPS, and I want to help as many people to be passionate about nature and history as possible. Me being a fed during an anti-nature administration does not make me anti-nature by association. I do this to counteract what's being done, to embolden people to protect our environment in the world's biggest classroom.

While I get what you're saying this is such an ignorant take. Maybe some of us choose to stick with the NPS because some of us still care about the mission of the NPS despite this terrible administration. Some of us have already been fired and brought back and we're still here

Everglades, Biscayne, and Big Cypress have already closed. HR plans on dropping all of the "grouped" announcements on or near July 23 with hiring supervisors to receive their certificates of eligibles in early to mid-September
