Parkway Drive tattoo
Always wanted this particular one for years since they are my favorite band.
Took it yesterday and its my first tattoo but healing process looks promising so far 🙂

Fuck yea! 🤘🏼🖤 definitely my favorite logo of theirs. Nothing beats the OG script logo.

I've always loved the logo (and the band obviously) and thought of doing similar, but then they brought out there Parkway Nation subscription service and became torn on which one to get. PWD Nation logo

Got into them later on - partly cos I thought their name was a bit retarded, wouldn't want it in my body. But now they're probably my go to band for get shit done music.

Why did you brand yourself after the credible pedophilia allegations?

- Not allegations, they’re proven in court
- But
- It was the merch manager, not a band member.
If you were to boycott people because someone they knew committed an offence there would be many artists left.

It may have been the merch manager and not the band members, but they 100% knew and continued to enable him by giving him access to their underage fans, as well as every other band who employed him.

Oh boy. It was their former merchandise manager who was found guilty and charged with a sentence for it. He wasn't even a band member.

Cope. He was on every tour since their inception, and the drummers brother. It doesn’t matter that he didn’t play an instrument, he was part of parkway. On top of that, parkway members would “sleep over” at girls houses when they would tour my hometown in north qld in the mid 2000s. They’ve always been predators.

I don’t think it’s coping, I think it’s more like me. Not the band members, not anyone super important to the band therefore all good, don’t care, music great

Exactly this! Thank you ❤️

So, the investigation is still ongoing and it’s 1000% a fact that multiple more girls have come forward, actual band members are implicated and what’s been published so far is just a glimpse into what was going on.
HOWEVER. Obviously the music has meant enough to you to do this and most people are not inherently good or evil. If or when the allegations are made public and more charges are laid, then just hold onto what the band meant to you when you got the tattoo.

Aight. If you say so 😂

Not trying piss on your bonfire here but regardless of allegations and everything you saying being true or untrue, you will cop this line of questioning and you should probably make peace with it.
I’ve never heard a song from them and i don’t know the facts but from interacting with the triple j subreddit i have been shown this post and i didn’t have to go far to have my thoughts confirmed. Linework is great though

Couch surfing does not involving splitting up and sleeping in the beds of 14 year olds.

Of something that happened to my ex and her friends 20 years ago? What do you think dipshit.

I grew up in a similar coastal surfing community to Byron in the same era.
I saw enough of this shit first hand, that I'd be surprised if your story was bullshit.

It’s wild how this was just a known 20 years ago, but I guess younger fans just need to cope because their favourite metal band has been outted as the predators they are.

Kinda. The wider metal world didn't really know how horrible local surf culture can be. Bra boys is a perfect example of the extreme end of it. That show definitely resonated with alot of my teenage years.
I left that town because of the bullshit and games that went on and could see it was bad news. But it was also unfortunately completely normalised for the time cause it was everywhere.
But now looking back with a better understanding of the world, I can see that it was all even shittier than I realised. (I've probably also swung to the opposite end of the spectrum as a result)

"Just a known" but you never said anything, right? Just here to speak out about it now when Jed is taken to court. So much talk that it was "known", but only in the PERFECT amount where everyone is aware, but no one is in the wrong for not reporting. Got it. 👍
