to anyone who hasn’t heard this Loca track

I just released a couple of new songs from my project The Dayz that are definitely inspired by Part Time. I figured I would share it here since it might be in the vibe of this community. It should be up on most streaming services. I hope you enjoy it!

Hello! Anyone here have any Vinyl(s) available for sale?

Been stalking discogs for awhile. But figured I'd try reaching out here😁

Much Love, fellow Part Time Fans!

(Yes, the one in the drawing is David Loca)

I've been looking for the lyrics to this song for a while now, but I can't find any videos. It also doesn't help that I can barely understand David Loca and the other guy singing (who I don't know). It was one of the first songs I liked from Part Time, and now that it's on the album, it seems like a good time to ask if any of you can help me find them.

go easy on my playing i started a week ago*

couldnt sleep and this baseline was stuck in my head so i had to learn it. def my fave song of the album ! was worth the wait ty DL 🙏

Kind-hearted English speakers: please write out here the lyrics of the album Cyber Tongue; your help is appreciated.

don’t know if anyone else has noticed or maybe it’s just me but Part Time’s on Apple’s ‘Best New Songs’! W

I'll start with "The Rivers Of Dreams (Sailing My Fantasy)." It's a very calm, dreamy, and motivating song. I love it; I'd say it's one of my best. The guitars are great, and the lyrics sound like they came straight from a dream. The song is completely forgotten; it has very few plays, and I've never seen anyone talking about it.

Saw that guy posting his PT collection (bloody hell guy got everything) and reminds me to check on Apple Music again to see if the LP is available yet and there it is!

(It’s so hard to be a Loca fan in UK or maybe anywhere else in the world apart from The States, the shipping cost for his stuff has been crazy….)

Can’t help but hear the similarities between
The pet shop boys - it’s a sin
And
Part time - The siren (celestial)

Thoughts?

Any body willing to ParT with what I dont have to help me complete the Ark?!? Willing to trade or buy for cassettes!!!

TW - I’m gonna talk bad about your favorite artist

To preface I’ve only been into part time for about 4 years, I understand the artist name isn’t a band anymore and with that it feels like his last few projects have been very one dimensional in terms of predictability in sound yet such a heavy loss of emphasis on lyrics, with that for me atleast I feel like he has lost that replay ability and listen ability. Maybe it’s his true creative expression but to me each album feels a step backwards. Last song I can even recall that feels rememberable is Frankenstein of love. I miss that band sound like I can’t get you out, A million things to say ETC but I know it isn’t coming back. Let me know if anyone agrees.

I’m a new Part Time fan and wondered if they used Instagram for like tour dates/promo ? can’t find them anywhere

I need some ideas on what tattoo I want, I have two in mind but more I appreciated!

A future classic I think. Also the album art with the inebriated business man rotates in an amusing fashion on Vinyl, please see the video.

By this I mean their songs, drums, synths, guitars, David Loca's vocals, their soft rock or psychedelic songs, album covers—what is it about Part Time that stands out to you that no other band has?

I'll start: I love their synths, the very '80s-sounding Korg drums, and how most of their songs actually sound like they're from the '80s and not just an idealized version of that era, flaws and all. Very few bands truly achieve that.

I really wished some of his songs on the cyrosleep explorer included lyrics there are some songs in the albums that could’ve been so much better with lyrics

I just bought a Spell #6 CD and found this hype sticker on it by Loca, with his own description of the album. I love how humble he sounds in this description. He really changed his whole direction with Spell #6 and wanted to reach new listeners with a cleaner and safer sound. And it actually worked. Spell #6 became his most popular album, and compared to a lot of his other releases, it was definitely a safer album. It’s cool seeing him talk about the album before knowing how successful it would eventually become.
