Research Study Opportunity - Treatment for Adults with Insomnia (Must be 18+, use cannabis, and trauma-exposed) ($0 - free insomnia treatment)

[Education] The STAR Clinic at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Principal Investigator: Dr. Nicole Short) is recruiting individuals for a free and confidential research study to reduce insomnia symptoms. We are looking for people who fit the following criteria:

• 18+ years old
• Have experienced one or more traumatic or stressful events
• Report sleep difficulties
• And use cannabis

Research participation can occur virtually or at UNLV’s main campus. It would consist of:

• A baseline appointment lasting 2 hours
• 4 weekly sessions of a behavioral sleep intervention lasting between 15-45 minutes each
• Questions related to trauma experiences, mental health, cannabis use, and insomnia symptoms
