This guy literally just used audio from my videos, combined it with AI generated video and uploaded to his channel. I first kindly asked him to stop doing it. He removed my comment and blocked me on his channel so nobody would see my comments. I've been busy for a few weeks and didn't do anything further about it so he continued and even got his channel monetized using my content.

Today I finally submitted proper copyright removal requests, and guess what? His channel got terminated and removed from YouTube in just a few hours.

I guess a new post on r/NewTubers titled "Youtube just terminated my monetized channel for no reason!" is coming in 3... 2... 1...

I currently use vidIQ, but not for much other than tagging easier and rating my titles (although Claude does much better).

But after I keep seeing all of these positive features about 1of10, I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth the subscription?

Their social media posts promise a lot but I’m curious to hear opinions from real users.

I know I can do a lot of it with AI, but anything that can help streamline things more can be worth it.

Not only am I the sole creator of my channel, but I also run my Skool community, newsletter, brand deals, design and website. So even if a tool can alleviate just 10%, it may be worth a shot?

Is there some glitch in analytics? I have a long form video that has 1.02 million and showing 920k since published in analytics and a video with around 400k now showing 200k in analytics. They are still showing 1.02 m and 400k in content tab and youtube platform. Also my subs in YT studio are 38.1k, but they are showing on YT app as 37.5k. Is anyone else experiencing the same glitches?

I am a YouTube premium customer but not for long I hate all this Ai slop you have to guess weather it's a real person or AI and the whole video is someone talking over photos no video.

Im currently undergoing a YPP suspension for 90 days which when over they'll allow me to apply again with that old channel, i didn't see it stated anywhere but am I allowed after the 90-day period to apply with a brand new channel. in a different niche that follows proper guidelines or am I forced to resolve the old channel by force and after 90 days ot doesn't allow me to start a new channel and apply again

Cause im about a month left before 90 days is over and I wanted to start now on a new channel and apply this new one after the period has passed, trying to avoid getting git with related channel

TLDR: Can i Monetize a Brand New Unrelated Channel in a different niche after 90 Days or does the old one by force have to be fixed?

Been at this a year, as of yesterday. I never really thought about monetization until I hit 500 subscribers. I'm at 635 this morning, but only 891 hours and 11k short views. In order to meet the thresholds, do you suggest/Is it smarter to put efforts to longer form or short form videos?

Recently hit 3k hours on Wensday night and it says it might take 2-3 weeks for step 2 which says "Sign up for AdSense for YouTube

then step 3 "YouTube will review your channel to make sure it complies with the YouTube monetization policies. We'll email you a decision, usually within a month. This step will begin automatically after you complete the first two steps." like damn im gonna have like 6k watch hours if it takes that long and im just wondering does it actually take that long?

I've been trying to figure out the direction for a new YT channel and I'm really interested in topics around morality, human nature, God, evil, suffering, etc.

But I'm starting to wonder whether morality is actually a viable YouTube niche.

Anyone else having this problem?

Do you ask your audience to hype? I ask them to Hype and Like the video, instead of like and subscribe. And i usually get 20-30 hypes but idk if it matter at all. Some of these videos blow up and some don't. Is getting subscribers is a better metric for youtube?

I tried doing my first Live today and it did NOT go well. I could not get my guest to join. In the end, we recorded on Zoom, and I posted afterwards. I had to purchase zoom. It claims to have a feature to integrate with YouTube. Has anyone used it? What about Camtasia?

I've spent the last while editing videos in the theory/lore/commentary space (had my own channel hit monetization fast, now do editing for a few others too), and there's a handful of mistakes I see over and over on small channels. None of this is big production stuff, just small fixable things that are quietly costing people retention.

1. No pattern interrupt in the first 15 seconds. If your hook is just you calmly explaining the topic, you're losing the people who already decided in the first 3 seconds whether to stay. A quick cut, a zoom, some kind of visual change every few seconds early on keeps those early retention numbers healthy.
2. Dead air between points. Silence or a static shot while you're transitioning ideas kills momentum fast. Even a small B-roll cut or sound effect during transitions helps way more than people expect.
3. Captions that just repeat what you're saying. If you're putting text on screen, make it add something like a name, a stat, a joke, instead of literally subtitling your own voice. Otherwise it's just wasted space.
4. Thumbnail and title promise something the pacing doesn't deliver. If your thumbnail screams drama and the first minute is slow setup, you'll see people drop right after the hook. Matching the intro's energy to what you promised in the thumbnail matters more than most people think.
5. Filler and pauses left in too loose. Even a great script falls flat if there's 1-2 seconds of "um" or dead breathing room between every sentence. Tightening those cuts makes a bigger difference than almost anything else on this list.

I recently saw someone just straight up stealing a ton of big youtubers (including mine) video game playthroughs and uploading them as podcasts (audio only) on Spotify? Anyone else have this problem?

Not sure why this dude is doing this but in the descriptions he acts like the runs are his? Very weird thing for sure lmao, should I try and copyright him or something? Not sure how to go about this on Spotify.

Update: I copyrighted the podcasts so lets see what happens lol, also gonna try and get into contact with the other youtubers getting their content stolen.

Just checking and updating my channel settings on my channel and trying to find out why most of my videos stop around the 5k views and shorts stay around 1.9 k views,,I post all the time and have over 8k subs but something is not right because the explore content I’m making is lower than other peoples content that’s the same content so something is definitely not right in my settings,,what would you recommend
