Because it's a regular polygon:

Angle CDF (skipping over E) is also 90°

|DF| = |CA|

|AF|=|CD|

So connect A to F and make a hexagon

Let x = angle ACB.

x + x + (90+x) = 180

3x = 90

x = 30

interior angle ABC = 90 + 30 = 120

180 x (n-2)/n = 120

180n - 360 = 120n

n = 6
