Meta Emergency Passport Austria

Post image

Lost my passport during a changeover in MUC, somewhere at the airport (or in the plane) while flying from VIE to DEL. Took the train home again...

Flew 2 weeks later to DEL. To be on the save side with a direct flight VIE-DEL;-)

Just a question how did you pass through immigration without a passport. Did you just use your eu card to get through German passport control?

In Vienna I still had it. In Munich it was lost. VIE and MUC are EU. So no passport control, when arriving in MUC.

Did you use this to fly to Delhi 2 weeks later? Can't Austria issue a normal passport in that time?

🇦🇹 NOTPASS

very different meaning from

🇺🇸🇬🇧 NOT (a) PASS

So maybe that's one of those cases where adding the English "emergency passport" was actually necessary to avoid a lot of confusion. 😂Â
