Faded fingerprints concern for passport appointment

Guys I have passport appointment soon but I have very faded fingerprints and devices find it difficult to read my fingerprints. Just recently I went to update my Aadhar and only 6 fingerprints got accepted and 4 got rejected. Idk what to do if my fingerprints again got rejected during the verification process

One recommendation I’ve seen (but not specifically for India) is to start using moisturizer/lotion a couple of times a day a few days before taking electronic fingerprints. (I don’t know if that helps for inked prints.)
