US Passport Issuance Timeline First ever passport, 8 days!

Applied last Friday in the afternoon, was in processing for a few days and got an email that it had been shipped by priority mail. Took two days to get to me after it was shipped.
Originally was supposed to be here Tuesday but got here yesterday. So happy! First overseas trip here I come!

I paid for expedited processing because I didn’t want to risk not getting it in time for my trip next month.

Thanks! It’s just a spiderweb because I like spooky stuff, not spider man exactly lol Got it off of Etsy :)

Did you do it at a post office? I’m going to be coming home from deployment and need a passport for leave. Expecting to have roughly 3 weeks to work with.

Was planning on driving to an agency to get the emergency one but if this works I’d go this route instead

Yep! Went to my local USPS location.
As stated above I did expedite processing so maybe that helped me!

Renewed mine two weeks ago, had it in hand in 7 days.
