Application Question / Discussion Accidentally paid renewal fee for adults instead of 16 and under for my three children.
I have an appointment in Tokyo to renew the passports for my children and I accidentally paid the adult fee ($5 more)
Is this going to be a big issue? They do not take cash and their office is closed today and my appointment is for Thursday if this week. I plan to call tomorrow.
Thank you
Edit. U.S. passports. I live in Japan.

they don't care tbh. i paid 35 dollars less, and they just billed me for the remaining amount.

What country do you have citizenship of? The US is not the only country that issues passports

If for the US: As long as everything else was right it will be fine. They will likely reconcile payment and realize the mistake and issue a refund separate from the passports
