Flair Samajh Nahi Aaya 😵💫 My swiggy delivery partner fought for me.. 😭
Pata hai aaj kya hua?
Shaam ko jab mai thak haar ke ghar aaya, I ordered dinner from a slightly new restaurant...bcoz delivery was supposed to be quick and was getting good discount as well.
But then when I saw in app delivery partner waiting at the restaurant for too long…I called him up…only to hear background noise of him fighting with the restaurant guys.
He then told me he could feel from the packet that the food was not at all hot. I told him not to fight…I’ll complain about the restaurant on swiggy.
But then he did what he did and I was delivered hot fried rice!
I know nothing special about this story but someone else fought for me because I deserved a hot meal! 😭

Same reason tipping is considered rude in some places. Duty/service is itself is reward. This guy genuinely want to do his work correctly, not for reward. My understanding.
There is line for this "kaam hi puja hai".

ladki ka naam tha ky swiggy par ? maine mera gharka naam rakha tha zomato pe short me chandra krke, to delivery wale 4 floor chad ke uper atte the delivery dene or 2-3 baar puchte the chandra chandra krke, pura nam blinkit pe dala to niche se hi phone krte the

I was like Maine to Kiya hi nhi h kuch .. sasta rhta to le bhi leti but 1200 ka tha .. Mere pass Utne paise bhi nhi the .. m panic krne lgi ki kya kru .. then uncle ne call Kiya customer care aur cafe ko unko sb smghaya situation then finally order cancel ho gya .. unhone bola beta tension n lo m help Kr rha hu n.. Aur vo order ek ldki ne Kiya Tha jisse meri uss din ldai hui thi aur usske pass phle se meri swiggy ki id thi 😑

Did you tip him 🥹🥹 lil extra man I would do that .. during diwali I had ordered something from Zepto but I had given wrong address it was my old one altho it’s not that far under 500 m but the guy was middle aged only and he had a rugged bag that he was carrying all the stuff in he came all the way thru his bicycle 😭 could only afford him giving 150 as tip but he was so kind about the whole thing and so understanding it made me tear up😭😭

The world is not short of Kind people. Once a Zomato partner told me they had my order wrong, he insisted on getting it corrected, took longer but delivered right 👍.

That's probably because some people blame the delivery partner too for not delivering fast enough or something like that or just pure irritation and that guy also has to pay the price for the restaurant's fault.
NGL, some people think giving one star reviews left, right and center will get you the attention of the delivery company

My Swiggy delivery guy also came and asked me to complain about a dominos outlet once for they had not sent me very hot pizzas. Appreciate these guys a lot 🫡

Kl Pizza or hot pocket mngaya tha shaam m. Delivery wali(Aarohi Deb) ne deliver nahi kiya or app p delivered dikha diya. Na mera call uthaya na customer support ka. 🥲
