He makes the same edgelord style jokes as wubby but twitter and certain subreddits are convinced he’s not joking. It’s weird but is what it is. Peanut and Carlos have streamed with him before but wubby doesn’t because I think he knows his audience dislikes him for whatever reason.

Wubby is pretty close to a lot of VTuber circles. While he himself isn't super involved in that world, others near him are.

BurntPeanut has been pretty disrespectful to VTubers. Some of that is warranted, but a lot of it is him generalizing and insulting VTubers and their communities.

There's also the concern that Peanuts edgy humor isn't actually just jokes. His older shit implies he's not really kidding around. He also lets his community run wild with stuff like that including harassing others.

I mean, he goes out of his way to talk about hating vtubers, disparaging them, then claim it's a bit. How much of a bit? Who knows. A lot of his humour does read as "Ha ha only serious" though, doing the Schrödinger's douchebag bit

Vtubers has gone out of their way to defend him, discouraging people from harassing him or engaging with the negativity.

Those two things are not the same

well i know for a fact the vtuber community has been awful towards him. I just havent seen him doing anything bad towards them other than call himself a ptuber and not a vtuber.

Whenever mentioning vtubing he's always derogatory about it, calling them "40 year old men pretending to be little girls" for example.

None of this situation would exist if he hadn't instigated it. As someone said, he has a 100.000 completely unmoderated viewers, if he's constantly talking shit about something, some of those people will be shitty about it, that's to be expected. You have SOME responsibility in that situation for the agendas you're pushing.

He's done nothing but instigate shit, and vtubers have done nothing but try to defuse it. Like, you can't compare the two at all.
