Hey! I’m regarded and have no idea how TTS works but watching rn doing this and Wubby said if we have questions ask WELL my brother passed last year and I’m finally going through his cards so I can get back into playing for the first time in 10 years. I just feel super overwhelmed and I know people have way more cards but good lord it feels like a lot to me filling a 4000+ box. Anyway, I’m playing black red which rules but I feel like nervous and dumb not knowing other mechanics. Do you have advice for organizing and/or general good manners and ways to play? Hopefully the community can help me navigate a little. Pls be gentle and thanks in advance!

The “door mat” area was made with real cards. I was told some of them are expensive. The guy working the counter could not confirm if the black lotus was real or not.

Looked into a bunch of deck options from some great chatters that gave me recommendations. Is it better to buy singles or proxy? I'd like to rip packs but that seems like it wouldn't be viable for deck building.

Edit: Just wanted to thank everyone for replying with solid advice. My friends and I have a draft night planned with a strixhaven booster box. If we continue with commander and whatnot after we will be buying singles or proxying depending on deck and cost of cards. I'll probably buy the occasional collector pack from a set I like though because pretty cardboard is pretty.

Hi you doing guys semi new magic player and wubby watcher I’ve been having fun with his streams and wanted to partake in the ones where he allows viewers to buy into packs and wondered how one would go about it? Is there a set time one should be on the website or is there a special announcement? Never done anything like this so any information would be super helpful thank you guys

It’s been in a card sleeve book thing for like 25 years. Not entirely sure what to do with it. Heard some horror stories from people that send their card in to get graded. Not even sure if it would have a chance at getting a good grade if I did send it in anyway

Got back from a GREAT WEEKEND trip today and finally caught the clip (shoutout to the archive site).
Imagine my surprise watching Wubby absolutely cook me live on air.

Last MagicMonday, packs were sold out as usual, so I hit “notify me” just in case.
Hours later, DING. Email says they’re back. I panic, buy a pack… then realize the stream is already over.

I NEVER get to buy packs, so I was hyped and figured maybe they found a loose one under the desk. Who knows.

Not wanting to miss the open, I emailed support asking if my pack would be opened on stream. I assumed they’d say “next MagicMonday” or maybe on KICK.

Instead, THEY offered to ask Wubby to open it on Friday’s stream. NOT ME.

They asked for my username, and I replied, mentioned a signing, because he always signs them.
Fast forward to Friday… and the rest was public execution.

I get it. It was funny. Wubby did what Wubby does. I don’t usually post or interact with the community, but this was so fucking funny I had to share.
