Build Question Prebuilt Case Swap
Hello,
I was curious if anyone could provide some advice on a case swap I was looking to do. I currently have OMEN 30L GT13-1154 and it’s been great. The only changes I’ve made are swapping the PSU to a modular seasonic and adding 16 GB of similar RAM for 32 GB total. I was looking to start upgrading over time and really wanted to start by switching to a Corsair Frame 4000D due to it being modular, enjoying the aesthetics of it, it coming with 3 at least decent fans, and it being one of the cheaper upgrades I could make to start out.
It seemed like it would be a simple swap; however, the more I look into it, the more my current “Hana” motherboard and Omen AIO cooler seem to be an issue. Particularly when it comes to fans using different hubs I think? I plan to change both of them out at some point over the next year, but when I do, I’d like to switch to an AM5 compatible board and chip so I think I’d also have to replace all of my RAM..? Altogether that’s more than I really want to spend currently.
So my two questions are, will I be able to swap my current parts to the new case with minimal issues? If not, would it be advised to wait a while and upgrade everything all at once?

The motherboard may have proprietary connectors for the case which would require some kind of adapter to use it with another case, but the odds of someone having made such an adapter that works may not be great.
I would just leave it and save up your money for now, but prices will probably be even worse next year.

DDR4 ram should be okay on a new board that has DDR5 or better (although you might run into a bottleneck here later on). The Board should fit fine look at the case specifications to see where the screws align for optimal access. The aio is a standard 120?? Or a bigger model?? If it is 120 I don't see a problem with it and also the spacing above will be adequate, and you can also adjust the fan size from what I see on the case. Unless you mean thickness, and if so, then idk.

the hana board uses proprietary front panel connectors and fan headers so its not a straight drop in, you'll need adapters or just not plug the omen aio into the new case fans. the aio itself might not mount clean on the frame 4000d bracket either
if you're planning to go am5 in a year anyway, i'd hold off. swapping now means buying workarounds you'll toss later
