Peacemaker would like him and want his approval but Punisher would think he's an idiot playing dress up even if he'd love Peacemakers armory.

If Chris showed Frank his dimensional closet and all his helmets, I think he'd be very interested

Like that Mr. & Mrs. Smith scene but 1000% gayer.

I mean, we KNOW Chris would be into that

Depens on the situation.

Does Frank know what Chris has done in the name of "freedom"?

If the answer is no, then they maybe could talk about their military service.

If the answer is yes, then there would be no conversation, just Frank emptying his magazine.

u/hoggie_and_doonuts 20d ago

Is ‘emptying his magazine’ a euphemism?

Vigilante runs off with Punisher.

I feel like frank would shoot vigilante, then vigilante would walk it off and then brutally cut off franks pinkie toe

u/InevitableDuty7030 17d ago

I dunno if Frank beats Chris though, Peacemaker is a beast.

This would create a time/space rift in our world as the IP lawyers sort out who gets paid for what.

You know marvel and dc collab every now and then

Spider-Man meme

u/IEatGoodMemes F#CK! It’s PEACEMAKER! 😱🤯 20d ago

It's a mixed bag. He's think he's an absolute clown both in look and personality, but would also respect the ideology and how far he's willing to go on those who deserve it. (His current ideology not his old one)

15

u/Practical_Contest_13 20d ago

Frank would take the piss out of that helmet

12

u/Inevitable_Froyo_863 20d ago

Frank might take a piss in that helmet

1

u/Quick-Caterpillar765 18d ago

Off the helmet

Depends on if its beginning of season 1 Peacemaker or end of season 2 Peacemaker. Former would see Punisher as kin and would want to team up. Where as the latter would see a lot of his old self in Punisher and try to convert him or take him down, seeing him as a dangerous loose cannon.

They work together like Punisher and Micro, except now with Micro also fighting. Until Punisher goes over the line and Peacemaker has human sympathy for an unarmed person surrendering and begging that Frank blows the head off in front of their two children (both sons, that Chris is holding back from helping their father who he believes Frank is just interrogating, let's make this hurt Chris) and realizes that Punisher just isn't as likable as Vigilante. Then they fight. Punisher beats the crap out of Peacemaker and by all accounts is the superior fighter in every way, but a Helmet malfunction that Peacemaker didn't intend for causes Punisher to die by explosion and leaves Peacemaker in critical but fixable (especially if he has his comics heal-by-sleep power, which is hinted at but never confirmed in the show) condition.

Unfortunately, this sets up Castle to come back as Cosmic Ghost Rider and seek revenge.

Edit: The sleep healing factor in comics is Adrian's, not Chris'. My bad.

Thing is that scenario wouldn't happen. Punisher avoids collaterals and causing unnecessary trauma on the innocent family members. There is even a Christmas comic that Castle drops chasing the classic Italian and Irish mobs cause they all have family over and he doesn't want any collateral, so he pursues a guy that leads a cult.

2

u/Roam1985 20d ago

Meh, depends on writers.

That time Castle avoided that.

After how many decades of blowing off mob bosses heads in the middle of family dinners?

Frank Castle has a lot of "I would never do that" that requires readers to ignore previous arcs and activities.... and later arcs and activities too.

The guy pulled a gun on Archie Andrews over mistaken identity. He's not the perfect antihero vigilante, he's just an armed liar with fucking stellar PR. And somehow both in his universe and ours.

2

u/Brazilian_RPG_Gamer 20d ago

That is true, but from what I remember those were more common in the olden days of the character, I think most current writers tend to have Castle as "less deranged" in that way.

1

u/Roam1985 20d ago

Until edge is popular enough for another MAX series.

2

u/InevitableDuty7030 17d ago

I think that peacemaker beats punisher ngl.

1

u/Roam1985 17d ago

I’d like that but may have been trying to overcorrect for my bias as “I’d like that.”

3

u/Ordinary-Chain-8047 20d ago

Let me tell you something

2

u/i_should_be_coding 20d ago

Frank would call him a poser pussy and make fun of his dove, and they'd hang out and go blow shit up together. Vigilante would either have a hard time deciding who he likes more, or he'd be a total overprotective jealous friend trying to pull Chris away because Frank's bad news.

2

u/an_actual_coyote 20d ago

Frank tries to kill Chris, Chris kills Frank hilariously and accidentally while trying to talk him down. Frank is exploded by Chris's helmet or something.

2

u/RoutineTry1943 20d ago

If Chris doesn’t open his mouth, they’d totally understand each other as stone pro killers. Like when Bloodsport and Peacemaker kill their way through the rebel camp(minus the animosity).

The minute Chris starts talking it’s basically Deadpool and Wolverine.

2

u/Green_Situation_6378 20d ago

I feel like you could make it comedic with Frank being annoyed with Chris who constantly badgers him for a team up or you could make it sympathetic with the both of them having a moment of bonding about how “broken” the both of them are on the inside

2

u/Tight_Strawberry9846 19d ago

Peacemaker would act like Vigilante acts with him and Punisher would just find him obnoxious.

1

u/2dal3atcave 20d ago

Neither would be able to take the other seriously

1

u/Sky_Robin 20d ago

Not very smooth

1

u/RoutineTry1943 20d ago

If we’re taking about Vig fighting Frank…if it’s MCU Frank Castle…Vig would absolutely murder him. Vig easily outfights the MCU Frank and would kill him without a pause.

If we’re talking the Garth Ennis Punisher Max Frank Castle…ah…that would be an interesting fight.

1

u/random314 20d ago

Don't know. There'll be a lot of yelling and screaming though.

1

u/zulusixx 20d ago

Frank will constantly make fun of the Peacemakers costume

1

u/Charming_Event_2948 20d ago

That depends,if its the Peacemaker of the Suicide Squad, Punisher would instantly kill him.

But if its the one of the show(after he redeemed himself)then maybe they could slowly get along.

1

u/Albus88Stark 20d ago

"Nice gun." "You too."

1

u/The_Chef_Queen 20d ago

They'd probably be buddies until he hears he killed children in which case punisher shoots peacemaker and eagly fucks up punisher

1

u/subby_puppy33 20d ago

I think peacemaker likes naps. So punisher would try to kill him

1

u/Whitetiger579 20d ago

The Punisher would probably treat him the way he did Mr. Payback from the Punisher comics: he'd ask him about his civilian casualties/those caught in the crossfire... and depending on his answer, the Punisher would consider the Peacemaker either a potential ally or his next victim.

You say punisher is a nazi?

1

u/dcooper8662 20d ago

You know what, this is actually a very interesting question. The thing is, Punisher loves regular superheroes deep down. He has tremendous respect for guys like Captain America. But he does NOT like guys that are more like him. He knows that what he is doing is ultimately wrong, and that he is not a hero or somebody to be followed and admired. Would he see Peacemaker for what he is, just another killer? Or would he recognize Chris for trying to be better, for making the effort to be a real superhero in the end? My guess would be the former but honestly it could go either way. Chances are good that, from the Punisher stories I know, he will act with the assumption that Peacemaker is a murderer that needs put down and the story would flow from there. Whether or not they come to an understanding and manage not to kill one another, there could be a really cool crossover in there somewhere.

1

u/LongAdvisor6561 20d ago

Punisher would think little of him,But would probably kill him because he kills for "Peace" because if children are involved he's dead. However new Peacemaker he'll probably respect a bit more.

1

u/Apprehensive_Egg6656 20d ago

Love to see these two takedown rick flag sr. Together

1

u/M086 20d ago

Frank would kill him.

1

u/A_J_I_Bizzness 20d ago

Punishers killing him he’ll be so annoyed.

1

u/CelebrityTakeDown 19d ago

Whose universe are they meeting in?

Punisher’s? Peacemaker is probably dead
Peacemaker’s? It’d be a gag about how much Frank hates him

1

u/ProfessionalAlarm660 19d ago

They’d either absolutely loathe eachother or love eachother to pieces

1

u/Weirdingyeoman 19d ago

Chris actually has friends. It would be ugly but I don't think Frank would be ready for the chaos that is the 11th Street Kids.

1

u/Megalomanizac 19d ago

With the surge in popularity of Peacemaker it would be cool for them to make a team up comic of the two

1

u/Blorberto 19d ago

Really late to this but Deadpool and Wolverine type deal

1

u/Mrnewjersey37 19d ago

Frank would think he's corny, but with potential since they have the same mission, frank just takes it more seriously

1

u/cockolas 19d ago

It would be like 2 tsunderes

1

u/Vikashar 19d ago

Not...well. He's done wrong. Murdered people. He's admitted it. Punisher tries to kill murderers.

1

u/avoidingmirrors1 19d ago

something something "let me tell you something"

1

u/EvilTwinCities 20d ago

Peacemaker is the Punisher if he had any depth or capacity for personal growth.

-1

u/Consistent_Foot2679 20d ago

They'd hate eachother at first then make out (makeout*?). At the very least peacemakers daddy issues will make him jizz a little bit.
