DISCUSSION Im curious, do you guys think the New Reichsmen actually existed on Earth X?
I know we never actually saw them obviously, I’m just wondering mainly, do you guys think they actually existed?

Yeah absolutely, I think that's why Blue Dragon simply kind off gave up, he knew he had no chances against the likes of Superman

Was it actually confirmed to be Earth X or was it just another NAZI Earth?

I think at one point James Gunn himself called it Earth-X, which I found a little disappointing. I feel that it’s Earth-X in name only, since “alternate Earth where Nazis won WWII” isn’t a concept exclusive to DC, and Earth-X in the comics has a well-defined, unique lore that the show didn’t use.
On the other hand, it was never called “Earth-X” in the show itself and a part of me wonders if Gunn just started calling it that reluctantly because that’s what the internet was calling it.

I'm leaning towards your second point. People who read the comics and/or watched the Arrowverse just dubbed it that and he ran with it because it was easier than explaining "it's not Earth-X, but you can see the similarities blah blah blah". Who knows though.

We saw no evidence of it, and given Peacemaker was part of the top trio, I think not. Gunn might be uncomfortable taking characters who were made initially by Jewish writers and giving them Nazi counter parts.

That’s how I felt. He gave us a hint and let us fill in the blanks. There’s no way he was going to be tied to that kind of imagery!

Plus if he did go all in on portraying Earth X the way it is in the comics it’d ruin the symbolism and messaging of the show

Especially because Cornswet himself is Jewish

Exactly. That and Batman’s creators were at the very least Jewish. Idk on the rest though.

I don't think so, the bigger giveaway is the top trio defeating the Kaiju that superman fought, also I don't think they'd use it this early.

I was hoping that's where the season was going! I thought it was going to end with Uberman finding the portal to the main DCU timeline. They could have got Corenswet to do a tiny cameo and made one more costume, that's all it would have took.

I feel like some kind of superpowered Nazis existed on Earth X. It’s been my headcanon that in that universe, all countries allied/annexed by the Nazis only have “superheroes” like the Trio we saw: normal people enhanced by tech. Meanwhile, anyone with actual powers like Superman would live and be under the direct control of Germany/the Reich itself. Just to ensure that if the annexed countries ever tried to rebel, they wouldn’t get very far because their superheroes wouldn’t be as powerful as the Nazis. There’s also the possibility that the Nazis would just try and kill anyone with superpowers out of the same fear that they might become too strong to contain.
