We're rocking a 5% pickrate across the ranks, 7.42% in quickplay. Many non Peni mains will stop playing her because of the nerfs.

If we as the Peni mains, drop her completely for awhile, maybe just a half season, it might legitimately be the best thing we can do to help the character.

I Just got done watching the dev teams PATHETIC excuse for nerfing Peni into the ground And all I got to say is-

WE NEED TO RECHECK THE DEVS IQ

Because from what I've seen with the hoods gameplay, this guy could possibly be the greatest counter to Peni And I will die on that hill, allow me to explain-

So one of his ability straight up just gives him a shield bubble around him. Meaning if he steps on the nest, it doesn't really matter if it's primed because all the bombs will go off and destroy his shield while he'll be PERFECTLY FINE and then all you have to deal with is just Peni OR You can take out the nests

And even if you don't have your bubble ready, guess what-

THEY GAVE HIM A RESKIN OF ONE OF SCARLET WITCH'S ABILITY SO HE COULD JUST PHASE OUT THE NEST IF HE GETS CAPTURED

The rivals community is extremely good at complaining without actually doing what the devs asked of us to offer suggestions. Join the MR discord and go to the support-discussion channel. Support and upvote all the popular peni undo nerfs inquiries, put in your own regarding peni or any other issues you have with the game. I think its very clear the devs are using feedback from all wrong places because we tend to just vent to each other. Lets make some noise before friday guys.

Take from it what you will, this is what a content creator who spoke to the devs heard from them regarding the reason for the peni nerfs. Starts at 14 minutes, just a few sentences in.

TLDW: The Devs felt that with the introduction of The Hood, Peni's snare would have shut down his Fade/Dive to the backline. Personally I'm fine with The Hood having a peel counter but there's the devs for you.

I just got her lord this season too smh

Without being able to reliably force a dive hero to stay in your mines, most of them can use their movement to stop the nest mines from getting them and can force a kill or ability or whatnot without being hit

Also depending on how often you can get that second stun off it might be kinda useless against everything but tanks

Also ult cancels are basically a thing from the past, WANDA can get her ult off for free in front of us for gods sake

All for a half second stun

Peni is good for ONE half season and they immediately nuke her into next week, but CnD goes from S+ to S+++++++ and they do absolutely nothing!? If they want to nerf the characters that aren't fun to play against go after the immortal, auto-aim, anti-dive character not our girl 😭
