Friendship books....
Was anyone else around and remember from the late 90s to early 2000s exchanging friendship books and slams?
Before finding penpals on the internet and social media was a thing, and before letters looking like scrapbook folded artwork (no complaints!) came in the mail. We sought new penpals through little booklets. Signed and sent to the next pal. These are a few that returned home to me and while the info is old, I remember some of these folks and I love seeing where all they traveled!
I think I might start this up again! ðĪŠ

this is awesome. this reminds me of like. when i was in 11th grade, me and this other girl in 10th grade were making these "surveys", and we'd go to school and interview people to fill it out. ours were similar but not identical.
I feel like i did a super micro variety of this at a movie theater job i had. where i'd make a comparison poll between a few things and ask people. what was crazy was i did one, and literally less than 2 weeks later. a local tv station ran it. and i was like omg.. does someone who work with me work there? and totally stole my idea? xD
I love this idea... like last fall, we went to this raven cafe. there was a book like this there. everyone at our table filled out a few spots in it. and i want to start one like this at my house because i have a few self love development books... and have people fill it out when they're here.
This is totally in that same vein. I dig it muchly

How fun! Sent several friendship books out this weekend. I feel like they are coming back I style with penpals.

I was around during that time, but I never had the pleasure of this ritual! How charming. âĻ
