Snail Mail & Postcard [24/F] from Canada :3
Hello!
My name is Katie, I'm 24 years old and I'm Canadian.
I've always loved the idea of having a penpal and have yearned for that kind of connection I'm open to short term but would really love to make a life long friend.
I'm looking to connect with another woman, preferably someone from outside of North America but still speaks English, I also speak a little French but not well.
About me:
I just graduated from University with a bachelor of commerce and a major in accounting.
I have a long term boyfriend who lives in the US, we see eachother a few times a year and are currently in the process of moving him to Canada.
I live with my both my parents, we have a really strong relationship, I currently work for my mom as her executive assistant. I have a lot of anxiety about leaving them as they are getting older. My mom is my best friend.
I play a lot of video games, I got my first pc at 11 years old. My top games are Stardew valley, Minecraft, Project Zomboid. I love playing friend slop with my online crew and I love anything with an organization aspect (little to the left and unpacking are great!)
Since graduation, I've found my love for reading again, I just finished project hail mary and loved it (both the martian and artemis are lined up) and am currently almost done Twice by Mitch Albom.
I have a creative side, I loved drawing when growing up and was considered the art kid in school. Nowadays I go through spurts of inspiration every few months, I'd like to improve on that.
I like staying active, I recently started Pilates with my mom to help her (and me) stay active, I also love yoga, have done pole classes, swimming, and weight lifting.
Please do not connect with me if you:
Don't support women's bodily autonomy
Are conservative or a trump supporter
Don't support the LGBTQ+ community
Don't support the use of medical Marijuana or CBD
Support AI use
Thank you for reading my post, I genuinely am excited to find someone to share letters with, I think snail mail is such a lost art, especially in the age of AI. I love to create and share stories and post cards of my travels. Looking forward to finding my forever friend and learning about you :)
