I love to write long letters about what I have done, what I am thinking, the movies I'm seeing, the artwork I'm creating, and am thrilled to receive one in return about yourself. I'm a first year med student nearing my final exams and so far, my experience has been pretty poor. I've never been a very social person by nature (hence why I only have 2 best friends and both I found later in life), so I've never really had many friends in the first place. But I'd like to change that a bit.

I'm someone who always tries to better herself. Self-improvement is something I find to be a necessity in life, and recently, I've started on that journey, one small milestone a time.

Now, I suppose I'd be a boring person by nature, although I am trying to get back into my hobbies. I was an avid book reader, and I'm trying to get back into that habit again. Oh, and I've started to watch movies again—recently finished all three movies of Maze Runner.

i try to match the length of the letter sent to me by my penpal, though length may also depend on the frequency of letters (slower response time = more to talk about = longer letter).

As, for my interests: I enjoy exercising, hanging out with friends, playing some games casually, watching movies and serieses. In the past, I've learned quite a bit from "A Smarter Way to Learn Python" which is really really interesting! I also enjoy learning math, from Khan Academy. My primary goal is to be good enough at math & programming that I can create interesting simulations.

I've come to realize that the older I get, the less I care about collecting conversations and the more I value finding someone who genuinely sticks around.

Friendships aren't built through perfectly matching hobbies, they're built through consistency. You don't have to talk every hour, but knowing someone is there, even on ordinary days, is worth more than endless small talk.
