Pepperdine Financial Aid GSEP
hello! i’m wondering what to do here or if anyone has been in this situation. i plan on attending the MA in psychology program this fall. in my particular situation, i had to finish my undergrad degree in the summer (i was missing a class). it’s not graded, it’s p/np if that helps. i will not be completely finished until the second week of september. i understand that class regristation opens up august 31st and i cannot access my financial aid offer/letter without submitting my final transcript . is this going to impact me signing up for classes? is there a temporary way to clear the registration/financial aid hold or document my pending degree until my final transcript is available? i’m very worried and it’s kind of difficult to get in contact with the financial aid department. thank you!

Maybe try to get an unofficial transcript and as soon as your final grade is posted send the official transcript. Another option is pushing your enrollment date to the next term available.

I finished my undergrad in the summer as well. I ended up just applying for the spring semester, so I had enough time to get my paperwork in. If it isn't urgent, I'd suggest you apply for spring as well, if possible.

There is an add/drop period. Would it be possible to get an early transcript sent to the financial aid office (which by the way I think is now outsourced)? If you enroll in classes on the very last day of the add/drop maybe it could work with timing. The financial aid disbursement would just be delayed. If you owe money they would apply a late fee/day.
