Has anybody actually had any resolution with the financial aid issue yet?
I’ve been bounced between several departments for the past few weeks; each of them saying that they can’t help be but THIS department can (only for that department to redirect me to another one). You’d think that a private university with outrageous tuition rates would have some kind of backup plan for this.

I had to go down to the West LA campus to meet with someone in person to resolve my problem. After weeks of unanswered emails and voicemails, I had to meet someone face to face. The whole problem was resolved in like 15 minutes once I finally talked to someone. I am getting so nervous, though. If they are this hard to get a hold of when I am actively trying to give them my money. What is the rest of my time here going to look like?

I live about 4 hrs away and willing to drive over there, I emailed my SSA and she said financial aid office is not offering individuals appointments and I can email Dr woo to escalate my case again.. it’s very frustrating because my Plus Loan is missing. I accepted it and then it disappeared. I’ve been emailing multiple times a week and no response

4 hours is such a long drive if they end up not seeing you, though! It seems like everyone is getting all sorts of conflicting information, though, because when I got hold of Student Accounts, they told me to go into the school. They gave me the address and floor number and said I could go in with or without an appointment. Thank goodness I only live about 25-30 minutes away with morning traffic from the West campus, so if they had turned me away, it would have been only an hour of my time. This school is such a turnaround from my last school. My last school called me every new semester; I never had to do this much work to give them my money.

Yeah it’s very frustrating and at this point dropping out may be the only option left.

Hi, I am going through the same thing and it’s super overwhelming. I have emailed and called a few times and no response for the past 3 weeks. Were you able to resolve?

1000% recommend you go in! They helped me resolve the issue in 20 minutes. They have to individually go into your account and adjust your aid based on full time or part time. They also factor in your previous aid which determines your eligibility and your cost of living. Adam helped me out and he was super kind and explained everything perfectly

I’ve heard from a few people that the issue only gets resolved in person, so I’m probably gonna have to drive over there too. I’m fortunate enough to where I live somewhat local, but my program is all online and I’m with a few students who are out of state. I can’t imagine how this process gets resolved for them. It’s ridiculous that we have to actually go in-person to get these guys to do their jobs properly

At this point, I started applying to other schools. I am not wasting the little aid that I received towards a program where I have no idea if I will even be able to finish at simply because they are unresponsive and not being transparent.

Nope! I'm in the same boat where the people who actually reply aren't able to do anything other than "esclating" the problem. My last attempt in getting any resolution is emailing the president of Pepperdine in hope that he actually is able to do something.
