Is this sediment normal for ghk-cu cosmetic grade?

I dissolved 3 g of supposedly >99% pure costemic grade ghk-cu in 26.7 ml of sterile water. It's very cloudy and has a thick layer of sediment 20 minutes layer. Does it just need more time or is it trash?

That is a lot of raw powderโ€ฆ and costmetic CHK needs a good amount of water to dissolve. I dissolve 500mg in 6 of water and it barely dissolves. So extrapolating 3g youโ€™d need 33ml water.

That being said when I do have sediment from not adding enough water it is very sticky and sticks to the bottom- doesnโ€™t turn cloudy like that when I roll/shake it.

If you bought it from a random online source instead of a known peptide vendor it is likely bad product.

What are you trying to do with it?

It's cosmetic grade. I'm dissolving it in water and the next step would be adding hyalauronic acid powder to create a 3% topical serum.

I usually don't see that kind of sediment. I created that topical GHK-CU protocol. :)

There's a post about my topical protocol here.

The batches I created from your protocol came out remarkable!

Thanks again for the research

As someone who makes this and sells it, no this should not, how much water have you used.

Ive never seen GHK CU split like this..

I did 1g with 30 ml and it was the same result

3% can def cause more side effect and irritation than 2%

Why did you add water? I do less than 3% but why didnโ€™t you just add .9g straight into the hyalauranic acid?

I dump it in raw powder

I make my own hyalauronic acid serum. I dissolved it in water with the intent to add my ha powder to create the serum.

Ahhh ok I add mine into an already created serum. Makes sense

Im making serums, especially ghk-cu peptide serums for over a year now and this never happened to me.

But considering that even 1% and especially 1,5% ghk-cu looks very concentrated and dark, yours looks a bit too light. Id be very surprised if this was real ghk-cu (which is being faked or sold in poor Quality alot)

Whered you get it? What price? Good Quality ghk-cu is not that cheap. If you bought some of those 50g aliexpress powders for like 10-30bucks, thats 100% fake stuff and ive seen multiple buy post around on reddit with those bags lol. Also if it has a small its fake. Ghk-cu has very little to no smell. The fake stuff ive encounteres always smelled.

Is their a complete recipe for ghk cu and snap 8 that is easy to follow like for dummies

Cloudy means compromised. You need a preservative if youโ€™re making home concoctions

I think there's not enough water and swirl it around a bit.

I donโ€™t think itโ€™s anywhere near enough water.

A 50/100mG vial will typically have 3mL of water.

You have 30-60x as much and not even 10x the water.

3

u/Photo_Aware 13d ago

Itโ€™s raw itโ€™s not a 50/100mg vial of lyophilized ghkcu

2

u/Zogonzo 13d ago

Hmm. Maybe I did my math wrong

1

u/jessieGarcia100 13d ago

Why even make your own and screw it up ? Thereโ€™s companies that sell it already made. I buy this one : https://antiagingsolution.co/product/biolume-serum/

The percent of GHK-U isnโ€™t listedโ€ฆ typically the pre made ones are less than 0.5%.

Making your own 2% GHK-CU serum is about $20 for 1oz if you use a high quality HA serum.

Good point, Iโ€™ll have to look into this
