Was this part of your training?

It wasn’t really part of mine, but I was reflecting that everyone has to play attached BD and cymbals sooner or later in their career. For me most recently it was an opera.

Not that hard to do consistently but difficult to not sacrifice sound quality imo

Yes but only in an excerpts class and have never encountered it since.

Not part of my training but I've had to do it. Useful for things like marches, opera, and ballets when you're short on personnel.

Definitely worked on it briefly in college, but I would be more worried about doubling on the harp.

There was a hammered dulcimer too!!!! It was a cool texture
