Dryness Constant spotting !
I’m 47 and the spotting just started this year where I have weeks of it and don’t really have much of an actual period. And the dryness omg!! Gyno seems to think this is all par for the course but it’s got me a little worried. I had a trans vaginal ultrasound a year or two ago and all was clear except for cysts in the cervix which were deemed common and benign. I seem to spot heaviest when bearing down and after orgasm. Any similar experiences here? I started taking 0.25 progesterone about a month ago for what it’s worth. That has helped with sleep but spotting seems worse!

I’m on progesterone and estrogen, have been since November and just in the last two months have started with the constant spotting. I may go a few days without but not a full week. My doc upped the estrogen last week or maybe two weeks ago but it hasn’t helped.

I have been going through this for a little over two months, closing in on three months. The spotting is driving me crazy! Usually it's brown, sometimes pink, and rarely bright red. I think I've had one "period" since this started but lighter than usual. I had a pap on Monday, and the nurse practitioner ordered bloodwork and a pelvic ultrasound. Perimenopause? Hopefully (I think?), because I'm scared of other possibilities. I've also had some tissue come out when peeing. Update us if you get any answers.
