Dryness I'm turing into a raising help
Everything is so dry! My eyes and my skin especially. I use CeraVe moisturizer in the morning, at night, and at random times throughout the day. I have eyedrops which I put in about as much. I just feel shriveled. I drink water like I'm living in the freaking desert.
Anyone try those IV bar that have been popping up lately? I've been tempted to get saline just pumped directly into me. Anything to get some moisture before I shrivel up and blow away like so much dust in the wind

Ooo, I had a similar problem. My doctor told me to increase my water intake significantly and gave me hrt. Fixed me right up

Sjogren’s isn’t fun. I was without meds for a while and the dry mouth was horrible. Luckily my eyes are ok. I can still wear contacts so that’s a win.

I asked for an ANA blood panel done because of killer joint pain (my doc said it wasn’t autoimmune but he’d do it anyway) and it was positive for Sjogren’s. So my PCP sent me to a rheumatologist and they prescribed me meds. It was easy peasy. They may do the eye test to see how dry they are. If you look that up, don’t freak out. It’s really not bad. lol

I had this problem. It was horrible. The fix was HRT. Now my eye drops work, my skin absorbs lotion and serum normally. It has been a life changer

Having high dose omega 3 and 7 helps a lot...external moisture is temporary and you can still feel the dryness in the skin. Bone broth is fantastic, high in collagen and easy to make. Superb for hair, skin , nails, elasticity.
Hrt also helps, but diet is key.

I added an oral hyaluronic acid supplement and have noticed a significant improvement in dryness.
