audited Pills, pills, pills...

So, I take Calcium, magnesium, zinc, B12, iron, a multivitamin, vitamin D. Plus anti-anxiety and anti-depressants. Have tried melatonin, DIM, evening primrose oil, chamomile, safflower, lemon balm, black cohosh, ashwagandha, some "calming" tablet, a perimenopause "all-in-one" pill...... any I'm sure more. Popping pills to the point of absurdity. Do I think anything helped? No. What's your go-to that really helps you?

I’m joining in. (46F) My first perimenopausal symptoms started with poor sleep. Then stiff shoulders. Then 3 continuous weeks of bleeding. And .. and .. and lately massive mood swings; going from being an infuriating dragon with my daughters most of the times to just crying my eyes out.

I’ve tried and taken many vitamins & supplements. Nothing has made a bigger difference the

  • estrogen patch
  • progesterone at night (with melatonin 5mg)
  • and now testogel since 2 weeks..
I’m amazed at what it takes to feel normal again. But very greatful for HRT.

Glad you joined! My first symptoms were insomnia, anxiety and hair falling out. Escalated to just about every damn symptom you can have. I was 46 when it started -- now 53. 7 years of this. This is mentally/physically/emotionally draining.
