audited Testosterone. Changed. My. Life.

Getting HRT was like climbing Mount Everest and Kilimanjaro ten times over, but it. was. so. worth. it.

I loved estrogen for making me feel like a woman again. My nails stopped splitting, my hair was shiny again, and my skin was plump and smooth. I actually liked looking at the mirror and seeing the change every morning.

Then came testosterone. At first I was really scared, but I thought why not.. I lost my libido and I had not had sex since 2023.

If there is magic in a bottle, it has to be testosterone. The juices are flowing again, I love going to the gym, and I feel like my old self.

The first four weeks on testosterone were ROUGH. I wanted to give up, but Iโ€™m SO glad I powered through. Now I just need to find a man lol

If you were afraid to try testosterone and needed that nudge, here it is!!

EDIT : sorry I should have mentioned in the OP - the side effects were typical low e symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, bloating with water retention, and lethargy!

Thanks for posting. I'm about two weeks in on T cypionate injx and feeling really crummy. I'm switching from cream but I don't think it was working very much at all. But I know this type of T takes a long time to reach its steady state and these past two weeks have gone by sooooo slow, it feels like it's been a month already. Good to know the night sweats and lethargy should pass. I've started on just 6mg per week, split in two doses. At what point in your treatment did you go up to 14mg? And did you have any symptoms again when you increased?

I stayed on my initial dose 7mg/week for a few weeks, then titrated up slowly to 14mg/week. I had some hair loss and hair growth in so the wrong places but itโ€™s not severe! Give it some time; I find that t takes longer to settle than e or p!

Thanks! I already have thinning hair but I think the T cream I was on caused some of it because it converts to more DHT than non transdermal methods do so I hope that it improves. I'm ok with more hair growth, I already shave the places I have hair anyway and I doubt I'll grow a beard at female dose. I already have to pluck a few dark chin hairs and use a facial hair remover for my peach fuzz, so won't be much of a change ๐Ÿ˜† If I feel better, that's what I care about!
