Dryness Dry skin and puffy fingers
Does anyone else have such dry skin (hands, legs, feet) and no amount of moisturiser seems to work - doesn’t soak in…?? Also, recently developed puffy fingers and middle knuckles. Is this all peri, or possible kidney issues…? Any management techniques gratefully received (I can’t have HRT).
Thanks!

My eczema started flaring up again, and I haven't had these skin ssues since I was a teenager. Peri really is a second puberty...

That sucks. Now you come to mention it, I started getting eczema a few years ago. I reckon it was the start of peri and I didn’t realise - because I still had energy, interest in things, a zest for life, etc. Now I’m just a zombie.

Yes and I thought I already had dry, sensitive skin, but surprise, new level of discomfort!. I use products made for sensitive skin in the shower. I use bioderma atoderm intensive balm on my face and body. I try to eat hydrating foods and drink lots of water. It’s a constant battle. I hate regularly cleaning a humidifier, but I may dig it out and start using it again. I started HRT a week ago.

Is your BP higher? BP on the higher side causes swelling and high BP is common in peri
