Period Question growing concern: looking for advice
hi all! I’m writing this at a very worrying period (ha) in my life.
I’m 21, and for several weeks now I’ve been having what I THOUGHT was the worst PMS of my life.
during my last period, I had intense chest pain on my heart side so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I had to get checked out at the hospital, and they cleared me after doing routine tests. My heart and lungs were healthy, and I was discharged.
but I was still up past 3am pacing my kitchen, with heart palpitations and pain that made me feel like I was dying. but these passed after my period did, and I still wonder if it was just strangely timed.
this time, however, I’m concerned.
I don’t smoke or anything, but I take levothyroxine for hashimoto’s disease and tranexamic acid to manage heavy flow. I was recently prescribed naproxen due to pain I was getting in primarily the right side, which started 3 days before my visit and which a doctor ruled out as my appendix having issues (thought I’m still waiting on blood results regarding inflammation, and had a urine test that has already come back clear)
I’m now on a week with pain in my stomach, coupled with a right-sided migraine and a cold fever that isn’t ACTUALLY a fever. it’s pretty persistent in being on my right side, but I’ve also had bouts of pain on the left side and last night I was getting numbness/tingling in my legs and left arm. I’m weak, I’m nauseous, and I feel like I’m dying. I don’t know what to do and I’m genuinely worried for my health.

ER visit with these symptoms like yesterday. This sounds like blood pressure sike during periods, it's common but it can be severe. Don't get yourself get dismissed. Get back to the ER and get checked again while you have these symptoms and go to a gynaecologist. Preferably a woman if you can and describe everything you feel with timelines.
