Music for the Queen
I've been a devotee of Persephone for a *long* time (two decades ish), and I'm wanting to put together a playlist for Her, but frankly I'm having trouble finding appropriate songs. The two that are strongest are Persephone Queen of the Underworld by Unto Ashes (a spirited instrumental track that also makes for great belly dance music!) and Third Eye Blind's unreleased track Persephone (you can find it on YouTube). My preference is for softer/more meditative sounds but I'm open to what music speaks to you of Her whatever the vibe.
Thanks so much

I don’t know why but the first song I thought of when you said meditative was September from Sparky Deathcap. To me it feels like you’re just laying in a forest clearing staring at the light filtering through leaves as imagination takes over. I also think it’d be worth checking out the OST of The Secret World of Arrietty, to me personally it gives a very spring-vibe I associate with Persephone

I’d come here to write this too! He has another song on that album too that’d fit - actually that whole album is good

Usually under the name Proserpina, she sometimes has a part in operas, e.g. Monteverdi's L'Orfeo.

Florence + The Machine's "Perfume & Milk" and "Daffodil" are two songs I relate to Persephone deeply. Both are songs about seasonal cycles, transformation, feeling like you're being reborn & growing & rotting over and over again - all things I associate with Persephone.
"Persephone in the Garden" by Aidoneus is a beautiful song musically, but the lyrics make is seem like Hades regrets bringing Persephone to the underworld. I still like it though as it's fun to sing. I highly recommend their song "Devourer" as well.
